Initially I intended to illustrate the whole book, but realized I did not have the time nor the budget to do so. 🥺 The Prologue occurs about 150 years before the story begins. I wish I could say that these are 3 different copies of the same manuscript. But it’s actually Part I, Part II and Part III of the SAME BOOK!! Ar Erasmus+ atbalstu īstenotā apmācību kursa Writing is Rewriting šīs dienas programmas galvenā tēma - kā ar radošās rakstniecības palīdzību varam attīstīt dažādas kompetences, tostarp pārvarēt valodas un cita veida sociālās vai kultūras barjeras, kā arī mācīties būt pilsoniski aktīvāki. Dienas galvenie uzdevumi ietvēra Facebook ieraksta sagatavošanu bēgļu atbalstam trīs dažādās versijās - vienu tiem, kas uzskata, ka bēgļiem ir jāpalīdz, vienu tiem, kuri svārstās vai ir neitrāli, un vienu tiem, kuri ir kategoriski pret bēgļu uzņemšanu. Otra uzdevuma laikā dalībnieki sagatavoja manifestus par dažādām pašu izvēlētām tēmām, vienlaikus izmēģinot praksē arī tik noderīgo dizaina rīku Canva. Lielākais dalībnieku prieks gan bija par komunikācijas uzdevumu - sarežģītāku kluso telefonu versiju, kurā kādu vārdu jāizskaidro gan ar zīmēšanas, gan aprakstīšanas, gan pantonīmas palīdzību.
