I guess nothing is better than to come back to blogging on the first day of 2017!
2016 was definitely an epitome of different forms of strong waves. It has helped me to become a better person, and made discover a part of me I never thought I had. It pushed me to adhere on what I believe in even if I might lose something in exchange for it. It enlightened me that I can never be who I want to be without real hard work, that I can be the person I want to be if I just put my head on my goal, and believe in myself.
Personally, 2016 was a door to some of the worst and great things in my life. I had hard times swimming my way through 2016 due to the number of people who tried to block my way to success the reason why I am immensely thankful to the real people who helped me get through with it.
The year 2016 has taught me so many things in life. One of the biggest decisions I won’t forget was leaving the academe, and finally having the courage to enter a whole new industry.
I have drowned myself to work, to people, and to other stuff last year so, this year, I plan to give myself more time to develop for me to succeed. I hope that this 2017, I will be able to go back to the things I love the most which are reading, blogging, and writing. Also, I hope to hear more mass, and be more enlightened to His teachings.
Nonetheless, I’m grateful for…
1. the chances I had to travel with Francis, and my friends to wonderful places.
2. fighting for what I believe in for the betterment of many even if a lot of people are pulling me down.
3. for the opportunities that opened where I can hone my capabilities.
4. the great people I met, and befriended.
5. being able to live alone, and surviving the everyday struggles of being a grownup.
6. all the technical things I learned due to my new work that I never thought I will learn.
7. being able to realize that I can stretch my threshold to things I can never change when it comes to different events in my life.
8. the great pictures I was able to take because of constantly trying to improve my photography skills.
9. having enough to share to my family, and my friends.
10. Finally, I am grateful for all the things I lost, and gained.
I hope, and pray that 2017 will be a better year for all us in all facets of our life.
