An average person with an average life takes their usual walk in the forest. They take a wrong turn and find themselves in a town full of cryptids, paranormal, and folklore. They try to turn back but find that they can't.

However, their strive to be the same took from them. The person still longed for home, their new life experiences draining them. They took this person's sleep, their joy, their willpower. Only the person's hunger and talent was left.
They continued, sinking further into the abyss to be considered the same, to be considered normal. Never wanting to fly above the clouds. However, they soared through the stars! Their potential being both a blessing and a curse.
This person was beloved by the people of the town they came to know, along with several unknowns that came and went in a struggle to be stronger. Why were they tethered here? Why are they able to soar so high?
Thinking back, it started with that walk, a normal part of their life before. They saw something abnormal and decided to see. Taking a turn towards a life that gives them more struggle.
One day, this person hit a crossroads they always knew the way of. However, this new path of adventure betrayed them in some ways. And in others, it gave a gift of endless bounds. Only now, that they have no bridge left to cross back, that they feel trapped.
Knowing this, that their fate is set, they persevere. They keep fighting, along with their new friends, towards a brighter tomorrow.
