You + Me - from Meg
“You + Me” for romantic headcanons between our muses.
1. Despite both having assertive personalities, they don’t fight very much, especially once Belle realizes that Meg has a very visceral reaction to a raised voice, more so if someone’s too close to her while doing so. They argue, but it never gets too bad.
2. Date night frequently means going to the theatre/movies in a modern verse during which Meg has to deal with Belle being a complete nerd. That said, they can get into serious debates on the topic with Meg tending to be a harsher critic with very particular ideas of what makes good media and Belle trying to decide at what point the author’s intentions don’t matter.
3. Going for the actual verse we’re plotting out currently: Belle notices that the Underworld is kind of... ya know... depressing, so when she steals down to visit Meg she brings flowers with her and admittedly once she gets there it feels kind of ridiculous offering a bouquet, but she likes the amused smile it brings to Meg’s face even if it does mean she’s laughing at her so she keeps doing it.
