It's the top of the 9th. It's very exciting. Anthony Volpe, who is having a good day, gets on base again. So does Jazz ChisholmJr.. Boone, finally, puts Cabrera in and takes DJ out. Better late than never i guess. With the first pitch to Cabrera, the home plate umpire makes a horrible call and calls an obvious ball a strike. Even the commentators said that it was an egregious error. That put Cabrera behind, and it must have shaken him up because he struck out. Meanwhile, Volpe and Chisholm both steal a base. With men on second and third, the Nationals get the last out to end the game. It was a very weird game that started with the first base error with the first pitch of the game that got Torres to second. Congratulations to the Nationals. You got us.
