It turns out I have pronounced Cornel wrong.
I have been pronouncing Cornel Wilde's name as Cornell, when it is actually Cornul.
Guess these time for all years I have call wrong on his name , it's called Brad Pitt.
So in my home state, there's a town who's high school mascot is a Wampus, and the first time I ever saw the word Wampus, I thought it was pronounced Waympus instead of Wohmpus.
I wasn't really angry at myself for pronouncing it the wrong way, but instead at the fact I couldn't say Wampus Campus and have the words sound strikingly familiar.
Srrsly though if you pronounce Wampus Campus like Waympus Campus it sounds really funny. It could just be me tho..
