People tend to get the wrong idea when I tell them I got a tattoo on the Walker Stalker Cruise. They think it's all about the fandom and getting a piece of the show on my body. That I'm a shameless fangirl looking for attention.

Now I'm not saying I don't love the show, and mainly more so my beloved Caryl. This show has been a huge part of my life for 9 years as well as helped me meet people I can't imagine living without. But let me be clear....this is more than just a tattoo.

It's a reminder that even in hard times, despite how shitty RL can get, to keep going. That I'm stronger than I think I am, no matter what others might think or say. How there are people out there who care about me in spite of and because of my demons.

When AMC created Carol and Daryl they did more than bring two characters to life and start the most epic ship known to man. They gave those on the outside a voice; gave them strength in who they are and banded them together in ways they never knew would happen.

So again, let me be clear...this is more than just a tattoo.
