call him repetitive, but he always finds himself walking in the sand. whether he’s smiling or frowning, it’s in the sand beside the water’s shimmering surface in the exact same spot he’s learned how to locate by heart.
( his navigation skills are far from top-notch, though he can get here from almost anywhere in wasteland. whether it’s from blot alley or the dark castle, he can and will find the one place that warms his heart. )
thanks to how often he appears in this area, he notices when things go missing or new objects — or better yet, people — make an appearance. as such, he takes note of the recurring redhead he catches a glimpse of every now and then. he always opts to keep his distance, watching from afar for a moment or two before leaving it be altogether and relocating to a different area along the coastline.
what he doesn’t quite expect is to begin seeing this stranger every other time he arrives at the water’s edge.
it makes him think sometimes, makes him wonder if maybe this person is somewhere from atlantica (but alas, he knows it cannot be because he’d been in atlantica’s waters high and low for majority of his life and never seen the boy, not once). the more he thinks, the curiouser he gets, and, well, you know what they say— curiosity killed the cat.
“hey,” he calls out suddenly, eyes trained on the boy standing with his back to him a good many feet away, “you show up here a lot, so… i thought i should go ahead and introduce myself.” he brushes his fingers across his own necklace, fiddling with it a bit as a slight nervous habit.
“i’m hansung cha, and you?”
