I deleted my gwynriel account on Tumblr (@lunainfortuna) to stay away from fandoms in general. Today, a friend messaged me asking if I had made a new account and sent me this screenshot.

Someone (who clearly loves me a lot) created an account using my old username, my old profile picture, and even copied my posts and the flag of my country.

That account is NOT mine and is definitely not run by a well-intentioned gwynriel. Please block and report that account if possible.

So this was originally going to be a Jet meta (which I may still do later on) but in light of some recent news, that's not what this post is about. For some asinine reason, some people in the fandom seem to believe that Azula calling Zuko "Zuzu" was abusive. To those people, I have one question:

Zuzu is a nickname. That is literally all it is. Most likely it came from when Azula was a baby and she was learning how to talk. And when trying to say Zuko, she instead said "Zuzu". As she got older, the name stuck and became somewhat of an affectionate nickname, as well as a way to annoy her brother. Because I'm sorry, when you have siblings and you find something that annoys them, guess what you're going to do? Use that something to annoy them to hell and back. And the other siblings would do the same thing to you if the shoe was on the other foot. That's how the sibling relationship works. I have an older sister, and for years I could not pronounce her name right because I couldn't get the "r" out. When I finally did manage to say her name right, however, I would still say it in the way that I used to because I knew that it would annoy her. Does that make me abusive? No. So Azula calling Zuko "Zuzu" is not abusive.

i hate to be the bearer of bad news but debbie has no responsibility over her siblings, she only has responsibility over franny. franny is her priority. yeah, she should care about her siblings, and she most definitely does, but at the end of the day franny matters more and franny will always be #1.
