Btw I’m putting little details in all of my WTTT fanart. Let’s see if you can find them!
Edit: I added Tahoe Tessie in the background of this one because Lake Tahoe on the border of CA and Nevada.
Caps lock
Alaska/California/Texas Domestic fluff.

Texas woke to keystrokes.
Many angry keystrokes.
"Right like Caps lock help we I have facts." California's quiet muttering was still a little too loud in the otherwise silent room, apart from the clicking of his keyboard.
Texas sighed as he lifted himself up on one elbow to look over the still sleeping Alaska, to where Cal had been.
Instead, California was sitting on the floor next to the door, lit up as golden as his state name by the screen light.
He ignored the slight burn of his eyes at the light as he took Cal in.
Curled around the laptop, with his face lent in close, he was glasses free which explained the closeness, it also meant there wasn’t anything to hide the shadows under his eyes. Without his beanie on, his long hair was on show for once, kept in the loose tail he wore to bed instead of the bun he normally kept it in under the hat.
Texas noticed the way his shoulder and upper back was leant away from the wall, as well as the slight red burn marks of a wildfire creeping over his shoulder.
“Cal, what in tarnation you doing up now?” he called trying to keep his voice down as to not wake ‘Laska.
He also, once again wondered at the sanity of the western state, he had to be hotter than Texas, literally burning and yet he had walked away from the living chill pack that was Alaska.
“Teaching someone.” Was the distracted reply.
“What?”
“They’re insulting my beekeepers.”
Which explained so little, he muffled a groan and rested his head on Alaska’s shoulders, getting clear answers from him sometimes was harder than blood from a stone.
“Without them I wouldn’t have any almonds.” Cal continued his rant, still making no sense to Texas. “Then they wouldn’t have any of their almond milk.” That got his attention and cleared something up, didn’t answer how it started since last he had seen was California passing out onto Alaska as soon as the bigger state had gotten settled.
“You arguing with some vegan online. Aren’t they your people?” he couldn’t help but ask.
“They're wrong, I’m right it’s my responsibility to correct them.” Cal seemed unaware that he had summed up the root cause of most of his issues in a sentence.
“California.” He sighed. “Come back to bed, some of us can’t sleep with that light pollution.”
“Hang on, almost finished, they won’t be able to argue this.”
He doubted that, but didn’t say anything, just watched as the golden state finished with a grin, stretch, still keeping his back from touching the wall, and closed the laptop, cutting off the light.
His eyes took a moment to adapt to the absence of light. So he missed California putting the laptop away or more disappointing the sight of him crawling back to their bed.
His sight returned as the other side of the bed sunk and California returned, he took a moment to lay himself alongside Alaska before inching back next to him, sighing at the chill his body gave off, Cal shifted again slightly before Alaska grunted making them both jump.
“Where d'you want it?” Alaska asked.
“I didn’t know you were awake.” Texas said.
“Sorry.” California whispered, oh now he was trying to be quiet, Texas thought.
“Cali where?” Alaska asked using the nickname California disliked but Alaska could get away with it as it reminded Cal of the decades he spent as Alaska’s wife.
“Shoulders.” Cal replied, seconds later Alaska moved one arm to wrapped across the back of California’s shoulders and crush him against Al’s body. California noise of pain was quickly replace with a soft pleased hum as the cold of Alaska arm numbed the likely stringing burns.
“Tex?”
“Yous good wheres yous are.” He murmured, reaching over to hold one of Cal's hand and leaving them to rest of Alaska’s cool stomach.
He closed his eyes again, sleep always found him much faster when he had them both within reach.

He was proved right about the online argument, in the morning when he and Alaska were both woken by, a now glasses wearing, California and an enraged shout as he checked his phone.
He wasn’t going to tell California he was basically arguing with himself.
He’ll save that for a meeting, wordless fury was a great way to win, it was one of the few way to shut the guy up that Texas could use when the others could see.
Cal vanished him with laptop, only to return moments later to grab his forgotten beanie, and to crawl on the bed to give them both a quick kisses on the cheeks, vanishing again before either Texas or Alaska could grab him.
“Where’d you think he’s going?” Alaska asked in the quiet that followed.
“Probably to get one of his cities or regions to continue the argument for him as he’s got meetings all day.”
“Which one?”
Texas barley had to think before he answered,
“Valley if it is an insult to his farmers, Oakland or Jefferson if he’s just really annoyed.”
Texas took a moment to register how well he knew California and his inner workings and quickly got up, deciding to start the day instead of thinking how well Cal knew his.
He ignored Alaska’s chuckle, likely knowing where his thoughts where circling, grabbed his hat and with a tip of it teleported back to his room, to prepare for the early meeting with Gov.
A century old relationship meant they all knew each other a little too much sometimes.
***
With both Alaska's far too excitable bedmates gone, he rolled over to go back to sleep, he wasn’t expected at the meeting, if he woke up in time he’d go, just to see them just, if not it wasn’t like they’d notice him gone.
He pulled the covers to him to absorb the heat let by his southern hot heads.
I'm in theater and today is Tech Sunday and I can't not think about Cali, York, Kentucky, Illinois, and Mass all stressing over Tech Week.
The one time they all get along: Theater.
