Something about Lan wangji composing a song for wei wuxian, and naming it after their ship name, and then years later recognising Wei wuxian, in a different body, through the same song. Its so beAUTIFUL. I ALSO WANT THAT. GIMME THAT-

The last verse of Wu Ji is (almost) always a challenge 😂
天涯一曲共悠扬 Across the ends of the earth, we share a flowing melody

I need an acoustic or acapella version of Wu Ji sang only by Wang Yibo to be plastered over that wangxian scene in the cave. I really really need to hear his raw voice singing instead of that curated soundtrack. Like even if it's only a whisper. Barely there. For his beloved Wei Yinggggggg
I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this pattern in the Wangxian songs.
So Lan Wangji is the composer and is the one who wrote Wangxian so the lyrics are mainly from his feelings and perspective on Wei Wuxian.
And yet one of the surprisingly consistent things across ALL Wangxian (song) versions is that whenever it is the duet version Wei Wuxian always sings first followed by Lan Wangji. From there it depends on when they sing together.
I don't know if this is just a coincidence (it probably is), but now I have the urge to write one shot wherein in their honeymoon period Lan Wangji finally sings the entire song in it's entirety. Then gradually it becomes a duet with Wei Wuxian being so excited to sing the love song that his husband made that he just has to sing the first few verses before Lan Wangji could. And soon as Wei Wuxian begins using Lan Wangji's words to express his own feelings to him. It becomes a second love confession, this time it's reciprocal, this time they know what their soulmate feels, this time music could say what words fail to express.
Okay Wangxian I'll write this one-shot fanfic since you have become my impulse muse and refuse to leave my brain. Also I haven't read the books yet so I don't know if there is a similar scene in the books.
EDIT (November 28, 2024): I have published the one shot fanfic called Intertwined Voices which you can check out here (but only if you are interested)
What did I say about Hiro Sanada always showing bare skin in his movies?
Guangming is an asshole too. A deceiving, lying and manipulative asshole who abandons his loyal slave in the deep shit while stealing his good deeds and his girl. He totally deserved that bitchslap and way more.
But after being a cruel, sadistic, hungry for glory and sex asshole, he finally starts to actually care for people at the very end. A bit late tho.
But God dammit, he's SO GODDAMN HOT!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I want to kiss his beautiful lips too! I wanna gobble up his tongue and have steamy sex with him too!
And he's so beautiful and dreamy with this long, glossy and glorious hair!! His back looks so smooth and warm.
And his voice is still so hot and melting and must sound hotter to Mandarin-speaking people!!
if i ever hear him speak French, i will decease of pure bliss
I made a flute and guqin cover of Wu Ji / WangXian, The Untamed version.
