ㅤㅤ❛ divine blood flows differently. ❜ though currently in a discussion about the gods, he can't pinpoint where the statement is born from, so unsure of what is in his own mind. the sentiment came from deep within, and had been impossible for him to hold back. it's disturbing, how often his mind does not feel like his own. his gaze drifts over to @wulfbluds, wondering briefly how he's perceived by this group. quite frankly, it's nothing short of divine intervention that he hasn't been made to leave yet, so unusual his behaviors and mannerisms.

( alys herself could feel a certain energy radiating off the young woman. different from her own, but similar in some ways. magic resides in her veins. . newer magic she's willing to bet. could nimue feel her own magic, it's old feeling ? alys rivers has always been here about this haunted, cursed castle. )

if only nimue knew the concept of having to decide, of possibly forcing this world to endure another mistake of hers, was crippling. she knew the other meant it with a quiet kind of generosity, of grace. "We're almost there," she assures, softening her tone. According to the map she'd memorised, there's shelter not far from here. She plans to keep watch while the other sleeps.

She sidesteps an elevated collection of leaves. Clever if one weren't familiar with traps. Green eyes scan the forest for its watcher. They must be close now.
