To anybody wondering what it’s like at Wasteland Weekend, here’s an iconic photo by Chris Barbour that really captures the feeling to me. Dust, sun, raggedy dressed people, feels like a movie set, are there people up on stakes there? Wait, that’s a helicopter. Wait, is that group of people carrying the helicopter?

Anja LivingDreadDoll Wasteland Weekend 2019 Finally, after 3 years we could attend Wasteland Weekend again, a Post Apocalyptic festival in the middle of the California’s Mojave Dessert. 4000 mad max and/or apocalypse fans all in one place.  There is so much to see and so much to do! Catching up with old friends and meeting new wastelanders as well! We absolutely had a great time!   DEMOLITION DOLLS This year I spend time with the Demolition Dolls, a tribe of strong & sexy warrior women, I became an official Doll this year.  Having fun at photoshoot and dancing on stage for DK Zero and others.  And also judging at the Swimsuit competition in the middle of a freakin sandstorm haha but we did had a blast anyway =) the Guttersnipes  Tribe 666 This tribe..this bunch of crazy people, we love them!  We’ve met them in 2016 and even though it was 3 years later it felt as if we hadn’t seen each other in just a week. We really felt at home again! We spend some time here..relaxing and talking. Hope to see you guys next week again! Wasteland spam

I wrote these in the runup to Wasteland Weekend 2019 when I discovered I could put my thinner handmade paper through my printer. I bundled the spam per day and gave it to the Wasteland Communication Corps for the postoffice to insert into their mailstack whenever they deemed fit.
