A Tomura reference sheet for Act 2 of WWGH. More info about him under the cut.

After All for One is defeated with the combined strengths of the heroes and League of Villains, Tomura goes MIA. There is more to be discussed as to what he does while missing, but this sheet is based AFTER the two-year timeskip, so I'm just going to focus on how he is after that.

Tomura has settled in a lodge on the Nagano-Gunma border. The building he stays in was once a mountain lodge for hikers but, during the war, tourism died down completely. Even after the time that has passed, other infrastructure was at the fore-front for needing repairs, so the lodge was forgotten and cast to the way-side, too far out to demolish for parts and unimportant enough to be never be fixed. Tomura is, effectively, a ghost haunting an abandoned building. He brings things to the lodge, but the place is more functional than it is personal. He has a scavenged futon, tables which he uses as workbenches, crates that store things he's gotten, and other little odds and ends. Sometimes he will travel into towns for supplies, always with a hidden face. He avoids large cities entirely.

Now, for the actual images (they are numbered):

His clothes consist of a fireman jacket he ripped the patches off of, a thermal shirt which has seen better days, cargo pants, and fireman's boots. He got the majority from his outfit from an abandoned fireman's outpost some miles from his lodge. The outfit has to be warm, as he has snow where he lives for nearly half of the year. It's all very "well loved" and has had to have been repeatedly patched up.

When he goes into towns, he pulls up the hood of his jacket and pulls a gaiter over his face. He hates the feeling under his eyes, it's much closer to his mouth and nose than father ever was, but he doesn't want to be recognized in small towns.

He trains so frequently with Decay that his knuckles are nearly always scabbed up and bleeding, the cold of where he lives only making it worse. He keeps them wrapped up and bound.

Different version of his hair. He considers cutting the large mass on his head off, but he finds he likes hiding behind it. Tying it makes it more manageable when it's overwhelming him.

Uhhhh some other fun facts: he goes dumpster diving in towns, most of the crates in his home are filled with old console parts (he repairs them now and sometimes sells them/trades them for things), he's still in occasional contact with Midoriya but NOT in contact with the League, his home doesn't have power, ehhh I'll cover other stuff later.

Someone said they liked my Toya design for my post-war au so here are some references I made for him about three months ago! When I originally made them, I had it set up with my thoughts just written on the canvas, but I repositioned stuff to remove the text and actually typed it out so you guys can read it, haha.

Page 1 is of his scars. Just going down the list of figures...

This is his current left arm resting position due to his elbow being fused together from extreme heat. He can still move the limb and the attached hand, just not with much strength and he does not have the ability to lift it above his shoulder.

His hair is kept shorter so that it doesn't bother his scars as much. The length that it currently has is to hide the patchiness that would be evident from something like a buzzcut--this patchiness is most prominent around his temples. His lips are thinner after reconstruction, with his bottom lip being more full than the top. His eyes are also uneven after reconstruction and his ears are slightly different shapes for the same reason. His right cheek is fuller than his left cheek and his expressions are a bit uneven and tight due to the skin there. His nose had a complete reconstruction and is a new shape, with a small nostril and more straight, defined bridge than the rest of his family. His face was originally reconstructed with a remaining heathy flap of skin from his thigh, but he was later given a partial transplant and cosmetic reconstruction.

His left hand. It used to be completely fused, hence the scar tissue there. The skin had to be separated and he still has swollen scars from it on his fore, middle, and ring fingers as well as his thumb. These can make it hard for him to bend his fingers closed.

Full body reference. He had an above the elbow right arm amputation and, as stated before, he has a partially fused left elbow and left shoulders. Both of his legs have bilateral below the knee amputations and osseointegration (the metal bars).

Speaking of the metal bars, let's go into his prosthetics:

This is his right arm with his prosthetic. Again, he had an above elbow amputation and, as such, now as a socket-based prosthetic. This prosthetic is very high-end (commissioned by Endeavor) and comes fully kitted out with a carbon fiber shell for lightness, individually articulated fingers (with myoelectric control and silicone finger pads), and the ability to lift a maximum of seventeen pounds (though, that's really pushing it and he should only really go upwards of eleven).

Both of his legs have osseointegrated abutments, which is titanium that has been attached directly to his bone. This was considered more ideal for Toya to avoid the friction pressure of a socket irritating his burn scars (this was not done for his arm so that he could still have right hand use).

With his legs attached, Toya is fully capable of walking like a normal person (when not attached, he can walk on his knees). He has black foot modules shapes like shoes. While he could get skin foot covers, he cannot be bothered and does not care about the aesthetic of trying to fit in. His shins are made of carbon fiber and are slightly bent like an athletics prosthetic.

After the two year timeskip, Toya is fully capable of doing his morning and evening routine of putting his prosthetics on and off completely independently. Frequent lotioning and gentle care of the amputated limbs is the only way to keep him out of severe pain, and walking or running too much in a day can cause him discomfort. Cold weather can also make his skin feel tight. He has ways to manage his pain when he has phantom hurts or chronic pain flareups.

Follow up to my last post: someone wanted to see him on top of Tomura’s head

I want Tomura to have one of those stupid nomu that doesn’t do shit. I imagine it’s very durable and can fly but that’s it (this is specifically WGGH Tomura… here’s a long ass ramble about it under the cut:

I’m thinking specifically like… Post-War Tomura who isn’t incarcerated but who instead lives in the middle of nowhere and goes around like the ghost he maybe should have been. It’s been months since he helped destroy AFO… but he still feels all of the odd things pulling at his chest: the fact his life was supposedly written for him, the fact he was just a means to an end, etc. He finally works up the gall to go to one of the labs (AFO had many in case any were compromised, and the heroes haven’t found them all), having to shove aside rubble to get inside. It’s a wreck, of course. Most of the machinery is destroyed, panels of the ceiling crashing down from the seismic crashing of the war months ago. He finds broken open tubes of not-quite-finished nomu and even some completed ones that were crushed as hunks of the ceiling came down.

He stops when he hears rustling.

It takes him a few minutes to find the source… but then he does. One of those tiny, little nomu, feasting on the body of a larger, less fortunate one. Through being smaller and sheer luck, it wasn’t squished and has been able to sustain itself on the rotting bodies of its comrades.

But that won’t last forever. The bodies will run out eventually or the heroes will find it and kill it.

…

It looks at him with such large, wet eyes, tilting its little head-body.

He should be disgusted by it… but he knows he and it are more similar than he is similar to most normal people.

It’s coming home with him.

Shoto and Izuku in WWGH! They aren’t too interesting visually, but they do have some lore! They’re both 18 here; Midoriya has been going to college for a year and is a very active TA while Shoto debuted as the #8 hero after a very successful senior year. Boys are workin with what they got.

This is a Toya drawing from back in November that I revamped a little today (original under the cut). This drawing, to me, is like prime World’s Worst Guest of Honor timeskip Toya and now his pompous ass has come to haunt me again and I have made him better. He sickens me.

I think I may have gotten a little better at lighting. And metal.

Actually trying to write out some stuff for WWGH and like the main little plot point I struggle with in the beginning is Tomura healing Bakugo.

Basically, in the plot, Edgeshot can’t revive Bakugo and AFO gets to Tomura and Midoriya while they are fighting. Spinner also doesn’t get captured and knows AFO’s plan, so he rushes to Tomura to try and warn him of what AFO is doing (he just got Tomura back, after all, he doesn’t want to loose him to AFO again) but, AFO reaches Tomura at around the same time and sends a blast of rubble hurdling at Spinner, effectively (to Tomura’s eye), killing him.

Tomura stops fighting Midoriya to attack AFO in a rage, which ends in AFO eventually fleeing with little other choice. During the fight, the two exchanged blows and quirks. Tomura lost a few quirks to AFO, but also gained a few, including Restoration, a quirk that can heal injuries that have been sustained in the last hour to anyone BUT the user. A quirk AFO would never use. One he took simply to he selfish. Tomura doesn’t even realize he has it until he tugs the rubble from a barely alive Spinner and, slowly, pushes the quirk’s power onto him until he’s healed.

Spinner then tells Tomura about what happened to Toga, to which then Tomura starts hurdling the two (with float) in her direction to try and heal her. Midoriya follows them for many reasons, and they pass Bakugo on the way, Jeanist and Edgeshot with him trying to stabilize him.

And this is where I am kind of torn. Tomura heals him in the AU, but I’m at a bit of a loss for why. I’ve considered Spinner telling him to, because he knows they stand no chance at this point. They’re stretched to thin and, if they want to make AFO pay, they need everyone on their side they can get. I’ve also considered maybe the vestige confrontation with Midoriya was enough. That it causes Tomura to pause… but I like that one less. I considered Midoriya just asking, too, but I don’t love that either. What do you think? One of those? Or some secret fourth option that I haven’t thought of entirely? Sorry this was really long winded I just need IDEAS.
