Anonymous request: Imagine being Rey's younger brother and her rescuing you from the First Order
Rey was kicking herself the whole flight to get you. For letting you get captured, for how long it had taken her to get on her way to you, for not just running after you at the first opportunity, pushing harder for a faster rescue mission. While everyone -- Finn, Poe, Leia, and BB-8 -- had all told her not to be foolhardy and not to rush in with no plan, it had killed her to listen. But if even Poe was advising caution, she knew it was worth listening. It wasn't a long time of planning by most standards, in fact it was probably the fastest they'd ever gone straight for a First Order base. From conception to execution, the plan only took a week. But for her, that week was hell.
She couldn't imagine what hell it was for you.
Flying in with a few pilots, Finn at her side, the goal was get in and get you out as quickly as possible. This was not a strike, nor even really an intelligence gathering mission. You were the target and anything else was just icing.
Landing a little ways away, the team prepared to hit the base. It was small, the First Order hadn't yet moved you, still waiting on orders from Ren or one of the higher officers for where to take you. Which was good, it made the mission easier for the Resistance. The first plan was stealth, the backup was violence.
So, the small infiltration group -- Rey, Finn, and only a few others moved toward the base, finding an unsecured door and getting in quietly. The base wasn't large, it really seemed to just be a stop-off between bigger operations. It didn't take long to find you, there were only so many rooms to check and the guarded one seemed like an obvious choice. The guards were easy to disarm and Rey burst through the door as soon as they were out of the way. Sure enough, that was where you were being kept. She gasped when she saw you, restrained and bleeding, a lump on the floor.
Finn and the others came in quickly. They broke off the chains holding you and hoisted you up. This was supposed to be a quick mission after all. Once assured that you were alive, just badly injured, the team got out of the base and back to their ships.
You were barely conscious for the flight back to the Resistance base. The First Order had kept you awake as much as possible and when they weren't actively doing it, your injuries made sleep difficult.
Once you landed, you were immediately carted to the medical center for treatment. Rey had to be held back to give the workers space to begin examining and treating you.
It was a long 24 hours before they declared you were able to handle visitors.
Rey was immediately there, leaving mid-training to check on you.
"I'm so sorry," she said as soon as she walked in and saw you awake, tears in her eyes seeing your still healing body.
"You're not the idiot who let himself get caught,"
"But I should have-" she started.
"You came to get me," You interrupted. "That was all you needed to do."
Rey smiled sadly at your resolve. She knew you were putting on a brave face for her, she knew you well enough to be able to tell. You were hurting but you weren't about to let her put the blame on herself for what had happened.
She stayed by your bedside as long as the medical staff would let her while you were recovering. It wasn't until you were let out of the medical wing that she realized how bad it had been.
The first night you were back in your room, separate but adjoined to your sister's, your sleep was tormented. Rey burst in to you room when she heard yelling, only to find you in a cold sweat sitting up in bed.
"What happened?" She asked, rushing to your bedside.
"Nothing," you brushed her off quickly, "just a bad dream. Go back to bed."
Rey frowned and did not get up. You stared at her, hoping she would get up and leave but she was too stubborn for that.
"What happened?" She asked again, this time a little softer.
"I," you hesitated. You didn't want to make her feel bad about what the First Order had done when they captured you, didn't want her feeling guilty or like she was to blame. "I was dreaming about being captured. I couldn't get away and they said that I was going to give you guys up. No one was coming for me."
Rey looked like she wanted to cry.
"But that's not how it was. I always knew you were going to come get me. They tried to tell me it wasn't true, that the Resistance left me behind. Didn't matter. I believed in all of you, especially you."
"I would have come to get you right away if they'd let me. But even Poe said it was a bad idea."
"It probably was. While they tried to tell me you weren't coming, they seemed pretty prepared for you to try."
Rey had to admire that even while being held captive, you couldn't help but see how they were trying to manipulate you. She looked at your face in the dim light, remember how it had looked when they pulled you out, the blood and the bruising.
"They tortured you for days."
"Not too badly in hindsight." Bruises certainly hurt less when you only had to remember them instead of constantly feel them. "I think they didn't really know what they were allowed to do and what they had to report up the chain of command. Honestly you've punched me harder than a couple of them."
"I've never even hit you that-" Rey began indignantly but then saw the smile on your face. "Well only I'm allowed to torture you."
That got both of you smiling.
"Once they clear me to get back out there, what do you say we go make sure they know that?" You suggested.
"Absolutely," Rey agreed.
You weren't healed up yet, but Rey was going to be by your side until you were and then, well then they'd see just what fury they'd unleashed.
Headcanons: Being Kate Bishop's adopted brother who struggles with abandonment issues
You were adopted after the battle of New York by the Bishops, having lost your own parents in the battle. It was a bond that you and Kate could share and one of the first things you really talked about together once you were ready.
It was a rough transition for everyone and you didn't settle in easily. Things were awkward and tense and everyone didn't really know how to act about it. Kate mostly just wanted to talk a lot and show you whatever she was passionate about, which was most of the time her archery stuff.
Kate was the one who ended up somewhat haphazardly managing to get you social.
She was a little awkward, but she was also incredibly stubborn.
Kate was excited to have a brother and was a little overly enthusiastic, at least in your opinion, about trying to be your friend. She invited you to all her archery things and tried to get you into it as well but you were never interested like she was.
It was a weird balance where you wanted her to like you but trying to keep her at arm's length because you didn't want to risk getting close just for her to leave. You wanted to trust her and be her friend because it was nice to have a friend but you were always afraid that she would never really see you as family and would treat you different when she got the chance, maybe even simply leave you and stop talking to you once you didn't live in the same house.
For a while, you bounced between following her around and avoiding her as you tried to work your way through your own complicated feelings about the situation. Kate struggled with the flip-flopping but ultimately was always there, whether you wanted her to be or not. And her continued insistence on showing up for you really helped your relationship.
There were lots of fights in high school as the two of you got through those difficult times and those moments where she insisted on being around when you tried to push her away but you never held them against her, nor she against you.
Truly the best thing for your relationship was when she met Clint, though you wouldn't have said that at the start.
At first it terrified you that she was going to go off and join his family and leave you. After all, she was so excited about meeting him, her hero, and getting to work with him on their mission.
Of course you were worried for her safety, but the threat of death honestly just didn't seem real, working with an Avenger. No, your fear of her leaving was much bigger, even if you knew it was irrational and you probably should be more concerned for her life and not her picking Clint's family over you.
You guys had a big argument about it the first time she was away for too long without saying anything and you almost had a crisis about never seeing her again. She was so excited about the opportunity and all you saw was your sister and probably favorite person in the world leaving you for another family. Fortunately she was able to see the fight for what it was and assure you that she didn't want to leave you, she wanted to bring you with her.
But instead she was so excited to introduce you to Clint and his family. She practically dragged you to their place at the first opportunity.
It also doubled as keeping you safe when things got bad but mostly she just wanted you to meet her awesome mentor.
After Yelena became not an enemy, Kate was ready to play big meshed family with all of you.
It was weird at first but given the amount of trauma the whole group had, you found yourself bonding with them faster than you'd ever expected.
Kate of course was helpful for getting you initially talking to people. She provided introductions, funny stories, and usually some favorite awkward encounters.
Clint and Laura were happy to have you around and their kids were excited to have another brother around too.
After everything that had gone down with Mrs. Bishop, you were hesitant about them, but a part of you just needed something to cling to in that moment. And Kate was vouching for them so you found yourself letting it happen, even if part of you fought back against it.
All of them -- Kate, Clint, and Yelena -- were going to be going on their missions and saving the world but they always promised to come back home. Given all that they, and you, had lost, those promises meant a lot. You knew, in your heart, that they would do their best to keep those promises because they understood what it was to lose someone, just like you did. Lost parents, siblings, friends, took a toll but these ones weren't going to just leave.
I see a lot of post of Charlie having a sister reader but what about brother reader his relationship with Charlie and Lucifer be like.
Lucifer + Brother/Son!Reader + Charlie
Well, since Charlie is the Princess of Hell, you'd be the Prince of Hell, the first son to Lucifer and Lilith.
Growing up, you were a lot closer to Lucifer while Charlie had to spend time with Lilith.
You weren't sure who was going to take over the Throne but deep down, you weren't ready to be a King so you allowed your sister, Charlie, to be the one who would take the Throne first.
Now with Charlie, you two never left each other's side and to the present day, you always were a support when Lucifer wasn't there for her.
Charlie looks like Lucifer and you look like Lilith, minus the short blonde hair of yours!
When Charlie brought up the idea of redeeming souls! You knew your sister had a deep heart for making her people have a better life.
"..Listen, Charlie, I don't know about this but I'll support you no matter what!" Just those words gave Charlie the courage to move forward with her dreams.
You being the brother of Charlie, were protective of her, not letting anyone come near her at all. Let's just say, you didn't really like Vaggie since you could tell something was off about her.
Overtime, you saw how much Vaggie and Charlie truly loved each other and you warmly gave Vaggie a hug and accepted her into the family.
"...It would mean a lot to Charlie for you to visit, Dad." You always talked to Lucifer over the phone, it pains you to see him swirling out of control after Mom vanished 7 years ago.
It was weird seeing Lucifer for the first time, you hardly remembered what he looked like beside the contact photo on your phone, being a duck of himself.
But, let's just say, instead of Charlie and Lucifer singing More than Anything, it was you and Charlie singing it together as Lucifer was proud to have you and Charlie as his children.
At first, the Relationship was rocky but it slowly mended together. You didn't like it when Alastor told Charlie, she could call him dad, made you a little pissed off like Lucifer.
On a normal day, you help Charlie plan out the activities with Vaggie. With you and Vaggie being the co-managers of the Hotel!
You being Husk and Angel's third wheel cause you just love this slow burn of love!
Now, Charlie's the oldest but looks to you as a role model since Lucifer wasn't really present back then.
You, being the brother you are, just likes to step into her room and knock something over and run out. It annoys Charlie so much and you do it everyday.
Other than that, your relationship with Charlie and Lucifer is always growing as you three are family and family sticks together.
Beelzebub x brother reader - "why don't you party?"
This is a commission for the lovely @thebattlecats2001
No trigger warnings really but this is under the cut for length. Enjoy!
“I’ll clutch the 3v1, just focus on getting med kits,” you informed your online friend as you mashed buttons on your controller, fighting three other players alone. It was intense; you chugged down a can of Mountain Dew in record time and prepared to do your final move to win the game. You were about to do it when a knock at the door interrupted your session. Losing your focus one of the enemies killed you. Throwing your controller on the bed in anger you went to answer the door.
“Hi little bro! Playing games as usual?” Your ever-popular sister, Beelzebub, welcomed herself into your room, her wings fluttering as she looked around. “Jeez, this place is a mess. I’ll have a maid clean it for you.” You rubbed your temple with your hand in agitation. “What do you want?” You asked her in an aggravated voice. She either took no notice or didn’t care about your angry voice, as her excitement didn’t damper. “I’m hosting a party tonight and I managed to steal Belphagor’s drugs, wanna come?” She invited excitedly, her wings buzzing hopefully. You sighed. As much as you loved your sister, you couldn’t stand her parties. You much preferred to be alone or play online with your friends, who didn’t know you were related to royalty.
“Sorry Bee, you know how I am. Social anxiety and all. Invite me to the next one,” you told her, showing her to the door. Her wings drooped in disappointment. “Aw, come on! You say that every time! It’s always ‘invite me to the next one’ or ‘we’ll see about next time’ just come to one! Maybe you’ll change your mind. Please?” She used her puppy dog eyes on you; you rolled your eyes. “No Bee, I’m staying inside. But you have fun.” You gently nudged her out of your room and shut the door, ensuring to lock it so she wouldn’t come back in. Sighing, you walked back to your computer. You hated turning down your sister but you refused to visit one of her parties. It was always chugging Beelzajuice and snorting drugs. You’d rather watch HellTube with your friends and drink a few beers by your lonesome.
***
It was three hours after Bee had left your room; all your online friends were asleep or doing their own things and you were bored. You’d already skimmed through a few comic books and played a few games but nothing eased your boredom and, well, loneliness. You missed your sister. She was always throwing parties and inviting demons from across the rings to join. Why couldn’t she have just one decent party with a few close friends and just have some food and non alcoholic drinks? It felt unfair that she spent more time with demons who only liked her because she gave them free alcohol and drugs than she did spend time with you. But there was nothing that could be done about it. Sighing, you climbed into bed.
You were jerked awake by a small crash. You didn’t even know you’d fallen asleep, but the clock showed 3 in the morning. You stood up to investigate, taking a flashlight and a stick for protection. Demons liked to break in to steal booze or drugs. You descended the stairs from your room and found a group of Hellhounds in your living room, drinking it up and cheering as Bee herself chugged as much Beezaljuice as she could in one breath. She drank a surprising amount before stopping and the Hellhounds cheered. You just stared at the scene before you, more disappointed than shocked. Bee caught a glimpse of you and grabbed you by the arm, thrusting you forward.
“Hey my beautiful bitches, this is my brother [Y/N]! Show him some love!” The hounds all howled to the ceiling as a greeting and you sighed, waving your hand. “Bro-bro, you finally came down to join the party?” Bee asked you. You shook your head firmly in response. “I heard a crash and came down to investigate but it seems you have this under control so I’m just gonna…Head back upstairs.” You backed away from the hounds and your sister, only to bump into solid fluff. Turning around you were met with your sister’s boyfriend, Vortex.
“You’re not really gonna miss out on this, are you? Bee’s private party?” He grabbed you in a headlock and ruffled your hair and you chuckled, trying to pull yourself free. He was like a big brother to you - always there when you needed him, always up for a good game and always delivering on the good food. Though you were protective of your sister, you trusted her with Vortex. He seemed honest and trustworthy.
“Sorry but, I'm tired and I’d rather get some sleep,” you told Vortex. He just shrugged. “Alright but you’ll miss out on the pizza,” he warned. You snorted and looked at your sister. “Save me a few slices for breakfast tomorrow!” You called out to her and she gave a thumbs up. Smiling a little you ascended the stairs again, leaving your sister to her own devices.
It must have been about 12 when you woke up. Your head was pounding and your vision was blurry, as if you’d had a bad hangover, though you hadn’t drank at all. Crawling out of bed like a gremlin you mustered the energy to go to the kitchen. You made a cup of coffee and checked the fridge. As promised, Bee left four slices of pizza for you. Pulling out the bag you arranged the pizza slices on a plate and stuck it in the microwave. While you waited for the minute to pass you looked around the kitchen. The dishes were starting to pile up, you’d have to do them today. Taking a sip of your hot coffee you closed your eyes, breathing in the aroma. It was calming in a way. THe added vanilla creamer was soothing and tasted wonderful.
You were jerked out of your coffee daydreams by the beeping of the microwave. Turning to it, coffee in hand, you opened the microwave and pulled out your pizza. Blowing on it to cool it off you took a bite. It was hot but you swallowed it. You took your plate and coffee to your room up the stairs. Sitting in your chair, setting down your food and drink, you checked your friends list. No one was online. Oh well, they had lives to live too.
Turning on a gaming video on HellTube you kicked back, watching your video and eating your pizza and drinking your coffee. It was peaceful like this. No loud music, no shouting, just the ambiance of birds outside twittering and watching HellTube alone with some food and coffee. It couldn’t get much better than this.
Of course, that silence was broken soon after by your sister, Bee, entering your room. “That was one hell of a party! Fuck!” She stated, her wings buzzing excitedly. “You should have been there! We played spin the bottle and it landed on Vortex and he dared me to dance to some shitty song. That party was great!”
You paused your video, smiling at her. “I’m glad you had a good time but parties just aren’t for me. You know I’m socially anxious and I don’t get along well with a lot of people.” Bee hummed. “Well that’s true but you get along well with Vortex. What if I set up a party for just you two?” You shook your head. “No Bee, I’m not interested in parties, but thank you.” Bee slumped her shoulders, having given up. “Alright fine, but I swear one day I’m gonna get you to party!” She stated before leaving, her wings buzzing. You rolled your eyes and continued your video. You were happy like this - just doing your own thing, while she did her own thing. It was easy like this. You wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Hiii Atlas >:3 I'm newish to your blog, but i absolutely love your Penelope × trans! Macho!reader and i was wondering if I could request a teen!reader / younger brother! Reader (14-16?) × Penelope? Platonic (or is it familial the term you use?) ofc.
Like maybe a younger brother ! Reader ( he him) gets into a fight at school with people that harassed his friends and he throws the first punch and starts a fight at his school. How would Penelope react to it? ( Ik you most likely have seen a familiar request somewhere else, but I'd absolutely love to see your take on this one! )
A blurb or headcanons, or whatever you feel like doing.
Please if it's too much, your requests are closed or you just don't feel like it, don't feel pressured to do it! Stay hydrated, have a nice valentines day and keep your head up! uwu
Thank you, don't forget to stay hydrated too! Also Happy Valentine's day too! Also, I really enjoyed writing this so thank you for sending the request :)
Also I don't normally write requests this fast, I've shocked myself a bit ngl aha
Warnings: fights, blood, bullying
Word count: 1135
He had it coming, really he did. Logan had been bullying two of your friends (and you, but you didn’t really concern yourself with that too much) for years, constantly harassing them, following them around school, dumping their lunches in their bags, shoving them in lockers, anything a stereotypical fifteen year old bully could think of he did them without actually physically hurting you or your friends. And it wasn’t just him either, but his whole ‘gang’ - three goons that followed him and hung onto every word he uttered. They were all pathetic and you couldn’t help but feel sorry for them. But that sympathy left when you saw him slam your friend, Oliver, against a locker, all four of them sneering as they cornered him.
Your other friend, Ben, tried to pull you away, saying that Oliver could handle it, but you shrugged him off, walking closer to help your friend. Oliver was small, not yet reached his growth spurt, he was also extremely anxious and in the grade below you and Ben - which was the reason you pointedly ignored Ben. When you got closer, you heard the things they were saying to him.
You stomped up to Logan, grabbing his shoulder and pulling him away from Oliver. Not giving him a chance to process, you decked him in the face, hard. Just like Derek had taught you - hand clenched, thumb on the outside of your fingers but tucked in, using momentum from your hip to swing power into the punch. Logan cried out, hands immediately going to his nose. “Leave him alone.” You growl. You turn to Oliver, about to ask him if he’s okay, when three bodies tackle you to the floor.
Was any of this a smart move? Probably not. Okay, okay definitely not. Because now Penelope was angrier than you had ever seen her. She had a fury behind her eyes that was ready to unleash and you weren’t completely sure where it was aimed. One thing was for sure though, your sister was definitely going to ground you for at least a month.
Soon enough, you’re all dragged apart by teachers and you didn’t exactly get away light - it being four against one and all. They sat you down in reception, having the nurse come to you for ease. And within half an hour, Penelope was rushing through the doors.
“Are you okay?” You nod, holding the ice pack to your face as you did so. Her frown deepens when she sees you wince. “What happened?” You shake your head, you knew she’d be disappointed if she knew what happened. You got into a fight. You didn’t want her to be disappointed in you.
“You’ll be mad,” You mumble, shifting uncomfortably in your seat.
“I need to know before we go and talk to the principal,” She says. You sigh, she’s right and you both know it.
“I… got into a fight,” You explain, hesitant. She’s quiet and nerves bite at your stomach. Before she can say anything, the principal calls you both in.
Penelope keeps it together in the meeting with the principal, she agrees that you should be suspended for the rest of the week and have detention when you get back. Neither of them know the full story - and you weren’t about to be the one who told them. Besides, it’s not like it would change anything, and you’d just look like you were trying to make things better for yourself. And it might make things for worse for Oliver and, therefore, Ben too.
Penelope holds in her anger the drive back to the bullpen. They’re all currently working on a case at home, but she’s still needed and she wasn’t about to let you roam about to do whatever you want at the apartment. She holds it together as she explains to the team that you started a fight with four of your peers. You don’t answer their questions (‘who was it? Why did you start it? Are you okay?’), you simply shrug before asking Penelope where you can sit. She says that since they’re all working in the bullpen area, you could work in the break ‘room’ (a small corner to the side with a small table and chair) after she talked with you. Morgan, Hotch, and Reid all gave you apologetic looks - all having been on the receiving end of one of Penelope’s lectures.
When she gets to her office, she lets it out. “What on Earth were you thinking?!” She exclaimed, turning to you, she turned back around, throwing her hands in the air, “You know what? Don’t even answer that! I don’t want to know right now, I’m too mad! I can’t believe you did that. Starting a fight? That’s so unlike you,”
You watch, unsure of what exactly you should do. In any other situation, Penelope reacting like this would make you laugh. But you had just broken the main rule of your household: No Violence. Yep, both words capitalised. So, you don’t answer, you stand there as she paces through her office. She continues paces for a few more moments before she’s calm and she sits down next to you.
“What happened?”
“He’s been bullying Oliver and Ben.” You mumble, “They’ve been doing it for a few years, all four of them. They never hit us, but they slammed Oliver into a locker and he’s younger than them and smaller and he’s always so anxious and it wasn’t fair. And then I heard what they were saying to him and I just acted-”
“Us?” Penelope asked softly, “Are they bullying you too?”
You gave a small shrug, “I wouldn’t say bullying, they’re just jerks.” You watch as your sister sighs deeply before drawing you into a hug.
“Did you get in any good hits?”
“Oh, I made his nose bleed,” You answer. She gives a small smile and ruffles your hair.
“Good. But do it again and I take away everything even remotely electronic. Understood?”
“Yes Ma’am!”
“Good,” She answered with a nod, “Come on. Let’s tell the team about my younger brother, the vigilante.”
You laughed, rolling your eyes at her again. “Two seconds ago you looked like you were going to rip my head off.”
“Two seconds ago I wanted to rip your head off,” She said with a chuckle.
When you enter the bullpen, Derek gives you both a smile, “Looks like my favourite set of siblings have made up?”
“Yep,” Penelope smiled, “I think we have an FBI Agent in the making,”
You found yourself blushing under the team’s gaze. “Spill, we want all the details,” Emily announce, twisting her chair to face you.
You looked at Hotch for permission, they were on a case, after all. “Five minutes,” He said, taking a seat himself.
Hi! Could I please request an enola Holmes headcannons for enloa helping her brother with his depression, please?
Headcanons: Enola helping you, her brother, with depression
Of your siblings, Enola is by far the best at supporting you. Sherlock’s not terrible some of the time, but Mycroft is just plain awful at it
If you have the energy, she’ll get you to practice jiujitsu with her. You would never have guessed having your sister flip you onto a mat would make you feel better, but sometimes that was just the reset you needed to knock you out of your funk
You never just let her win though so sometimes you won which also felt good
Sometimes though, she’s really good for just talking
If you need to talk, she’ll listen to you (actually listen) and sit with you while you verbally process everything
If you ask for advice, she’ll give it. She doesn’t always give very good advice, but it’s nice that she tries and sometimes her “advice” is actually pretty funny
Other times, you just need to be with someone else and hear them talking and if there’s one thing Enola’s good at, it’s talking your ear off. She’ll talk about flowers, about cases, about Tewkesbury, about your siblings or your mother. It doesn’t really matter to you but it helps pull you out of your head
She’ll take you on strolls on the streets of London or in the park. These might be your favorite since you get to see the world and get reminded that it’s all so much bigger and richer than you sometimes can remember.
She makes a regular check in with you to make sure you’re taking care of yourself
Usually you two go out to eat since you both know she should not be allowed in the kitchen
Sometimes she’ll invite Sherlock along, for any number of reasons
Either you need your brother’s pragmatism or she knows that he needs more socializing
No matter what, it’s fun to be with both your siblings, especially this version of Sherlock that has really come out since Enola came back into his life
Your family has never been very touchy feely, but damn if Enola doesn’t give good hugs when you need them
Enola knows you pretty well it seems. She can tell if you need mental stimulation like helping her with a case or the emotional support your brothers tend to lack for as well
You credit her a lot with helping you out of your bad days and making sure you remember there are good things in the world and people who care about you
Jughead has a older brother who's never been spoken of in the group for personal reasons but when you come back and figure out what's going on will jughead finally speak out about how hopelessness he feels.
jughead-" jughead groans at his dad " what" " someone's here to see you " jughead smirks " hey juggy!" You smile at him.
Jughead face goes suprised then worried then angry. " you go somewhere and never call you're a asshole " he says hitting you .
" thank you, so dad said you have friends where are they " jughead bits his lip " where were you " you smile " you know where " you say messing with his hair " yea yea I know jail " you punch his arm .
