alexander is usually pretty good at hiding his sadness or his pain, but there’s one day in which the hurt gets so strong he can’t just pretend everything’s fine and dandy; that day is mother’s day. not that he mentions this to anyone, really. his technique to deal with the day consists in not addressing the date at all in the previous days and, on actual mother’s day, he just leaves very early in the morning, turns off his phone and doesn’t come back until past midnight. no one knows what he does or where he is, and he keeps going on with his life as if nothing weird had happened at all, as if he went to hide from the world any other day.

ammolite: how lucky or unlucky my muse is
His name is Goodsir, not Luckysir. He prefers to remain in good spirits and would consider himself fairly lucky, all things considered...but he, in fact, isn’t exactly all that lucky at all. He would tell you your luck depends on your outlook.
abalone: what kind of situations compromise my muse emotionally
The 1845 Franklin Expedition. He is used to death and gore from his line of work, but he’s never quite prepared for it. After all, how could you be. It weighs a great deal on his mind. When deaths aren’t peaceful, as he’s used to, that bothers him beyond comprehension.
[EPISODE 7: Horrible From Supper SPOILERS] Not putting under cut because the episode has aired.
For example, Morfin gets his head busted open from a bullet and he falls at Goodsir’s feet. It wrecks the latter emotionally and he gets sent into a panic attack until he is comforted physically.
He doesn’t like seeing anyone in any sort of distress - particularly those he cannot fix. He believes everything has an explanation and a solution, and well…when that belief is tested…it also tests Goodsir’s will as a whole. It’s also why his religious beliefs are shaky.
Plus, any situation involving child and other innocent death. He cannot wrap his brain around it, and while everything he believes in is tested time and time again, he refuses to allow himself to become cynical. He’s always looking for other solutions.
[EPISODE 8-10 SPOILERS.]
He doesn’t like goodbyes. Not only is he clearly in love with/enamored by Lady Silence/Silna by episode 8, he has trouble letting her go as she was the only positive note of this entire experience for him. He feels that when she’s near him she’ll be safe, even though Nunavut is her home and she’s actually the stronger and overall more capable of the pair of them. He likes having her within earshot of him so that way he doesn’t have to worry about her safety. He likes the tangible because there’s usually an explanation for it.
At the very end, his hold on his sanity shattered. His religious faith is tested now more than ever, yet he refuses to become a monster such as Hickey, or eat the flesh of his friends and associates. He would much rather go out on his own terms and risk a seat with God than let the situation change him. Butchering William Gibson was the breaking point for him. He knew he wasn’t getting out.
Goodsir would be a rather anxious parent…not overbearing with protection, but certainly nervous of germs and such that his children would come into contact with. He encourages individualism and curiosity. He’s rarely ever worried when his children mess something up and he loves for them to interact with animals and implores them to be as open-minded as possible. He is fantastic at comforting them when they cry and telling bedtimes stories.
Henry is in fair health, but he has a heart murmur. It does not bother him normally, although when he is physically exhausted or his heart is otherwise pounding(fear, for example), it bothers him more extensively.
HEADCANON: leo says he "[does] chems all the time" but the reality is his first trip on psycho was awful and he has Bad Vibes about it to this day. ~peer pressure~ gets him moderate hits on jet and mentats
