inktober day... uh... 11? i'm doing them all, i promise. i just haven't posted them all here. xD

ellie is pointing her gun at lanza, who has a small bounty, just enough to fill her gas tank and get a few weeks of food supplies. yes, this is how they meet. xd

I finally got my shit together and built a website for my long-standing project, X-Circuit. I feel accomplished, heh. Now I actually have to do the work of drawing and updating new pages. But I think having the website will motivate me to do that more regularly. There are still some plot details to work out before I can get finished the first chapter, but I know it’ll come together if I just keep working on it. Anyhow:

ok, man. after so much reworking and a lot of art block, I think maybe this is the general design I will settle on for Ellie at the start of the comic. Certain elements have been part of her design since the beginning: curly hair, overalls, white moon boots, freckles. The character was always missing something for me, though. I made a ref sheet for her at some point in 2019 and it was very flashy and stylish. I had always written “she likes to dress in crazy fashions and colors” on her past character bios, and she does. But I think for everyday work she looks more toned down, like this. It just feels right. So I’m going with it.
