part of my pile of wips that I’m declaring done, decided to finally do rough designs for the main initial/early adults at/around the mansion in X-Men: Burning Bright, which lead to me doing design lineups of the O7 again, which lead to me fussing with their initial uniform designs again (feat. clunky armored boots a la Generation X, + a “classic” variation, two as-if-designed-by-Jean “fashion” variations, and a school uniform variation because child soldiers). also: casual outfits because I’ve just been wanting to draw little outfits lately

do you ever work on something so long you just kind of need to give up on it? that is me with these expression sheets. anyway!

maybe final? versions of the first uniforms for X-Men: Burning Bright's "original seven", and expression sheets with still-not-final face designs (and Warren's hair) (Scott gets an extra mini one to play with the idea of him removing his sunglasses/visor sometimes so whoever he's talking with can see his face/expressions better, generally with friends/family who trust him without his eye protection and who he trusts enough to effectively blind himself around?)

I wanted to take a break from designing, so I drew my five most-favorite X-Men and… proceeded to design rough ideas of new team costumes for them <:) also stayed up to after 6 am in the process, good night

I was going to put aside further drawing for tonight but then I had a scene idea to try so here’s more inking practice with Shiro & Scott, ‘cause sometimes Scott is solar-powered and the idea of one of the solar mutants powering him up entertains/fascinates me, and since Shiro’s my favorite of them, thus. using the costume designs from my top 5 faves drawings again ‘cause I can. <:) lineart still needs improving

I ended doodling a top 5 faves for Marvel again anyway, again with new costumes for fun (except for Rogue & Remy, who due to editorial nonsense have been put in time-out and so are only present via tiny portraits where I had their 90s costumes in mind but you can’t really see them anyway)

wip complete? I feel like I could do more with it and maybe I will later but I am tired and feel bad and would like to move on for now.
