A few are repeat offenders from years past (JFA, Pearl to Stone, Now, Ole, Welcome to the Terrordome and Latin 7) but also some old gold creeping in.
This one goes out to that feeling of discovery. You know when you go to a show for one band and end up coming home knowing that one of the others on the bill is your new favorite. Case in point - in December of 2001, went to see Rival Schools at the Meow Meow here in Portland and was BLOWN AWAY by the Hives. Rival Schools was good, I mean who doesn’t love some Walter. Schreifels? I knew the Hives first three records already, but they weren’t on the list of must listens. But once they came out on stage, it was over.
