If the gang could relive the day they died, knowing what happens to them, would they have done anything differently?

Finnick would have owned up to being the reason a child got hurt, and he would have resigned from his position on the spot. Of course that would mean he would have to still be drafted, and he’d have to bring the news to his sister. But any last day with his sister would be spent with pizza and movies.

Terry probably would have been nicer. Probably wouldn’t have scowled at the kids for leaving stains, he would joke around with Sid in the break room, gone over the latest book he would offer to Xavier, give an extra dollar or two to Pablo, and would have convinced Melody to leave early to attend to their date and kiss her whenever he could.

Melody would still sing. She’d put on a performance like no other, even if it was only for a select few in a cheesy ol’ diner, she would have just been happy twirling about. She’d offer a small dance to Finnick, grabbing his hips and laughing. She’d blow a kiss to Sid from afar, knowing how much it’d make him fluster. She’d do everything to ensure people at least smiled once before the end of the day.

Sid would confess to Finnick. Confess to him how his longing stares weren’t just for show and just how happy he always was to find out their shifts were together. He’d stammer and sweat, looking at the clock, before being met with a simple peck to his cheek from the burly man in front of him.

And Xavier would hug Finnick. He’d hug his best friend until his bones would pop.

The AU of four trapped souls within Fazbear’s Pizzeria 1972

Characters that belong in this universe are explained below

Finnick Nelson - A former draft dodger mechanic who used to work at Fazbear’s Pizzeria. He’s known for his absent-mindedness and hyperactivity, but his devotion to his sister. An unfortunate betrayal of trust however, resulted in his murder, along with the curse of his soul to wander among the decaying animatronics. As punishment for his cowardice, he’s assigned the role of the fan.

Terry Bellington - A stern, stubborn man who only softens at certain moments of tenderness. Terry was originally hired as a waiter, but soon was promoted to part-tome assistant manager at Fazbear’s pizzeria. Despite his vigilant intellect, nothing could prepare him for the torture to follow in 1972, and the result of becoming a wandering soul within the cracking walls of the pizzeria. As punishment for his closed off facade, he’s assigned the role of the tablet.

Melody Marionette - A coy and playful woman who used to be the latest entertainer of Fazbear’s Pizzeria. Attending college for the musical arts, she often flirted among the customers to raise her tips. Having a very close relationship with Terry resulting in a surprise pregnancy, she expected to go through with the gunshot proposal only to reach her demise in 1972. As punishment for her pride, she’s assigned the role of the music box.

Sid Bennet - A timid man with females, but a giddy fellow with Finnick in particular, Sid was the finest soda tapper a risky dinky restaurant had to offer. He often was found breaking dress code by sporting his headphones, or found sneaking extra cherries to kids. His cocky personality soon faltered over the deaths of his friends, and soon his own fate was decided upon receiving a threatening call from his sexual abuser. Ending his life shortly after, and as punishment for his temptation, he’s assigned the role of a simple soda cup.

Pablo Ramirez - Once a clumsy 16-year old bus boy for Fazbear’s Pizzeria, to a 33-year old father of one, Pablo himself sits at a dead end security job hoping to heal from the tramatic memories of his lost friends. However, his coping is faltered as now every shift, he must come face to face with the living souls of those departed. Now, he only wishes to be rid of this anxiety, and to heal the others around him instead.

Xavier Clements - A very tall statured man who’s own heart and mind curdled with anger and possession. At once a fellow companion, now turned into a heartless monster killing the one’s dearest to him. Now, he pays for his guilt behind bars. His regrets however, fuel his goal of redemption — even if it means he takes the place of the innocent.
