Basil didn’t know what was bringing the strangers to their home, he also didn’t know if the strangers could be trusted, if they were sent here with a specific goal in mind. So he’d taken to patrolling once or twice a day to look for any, usually to confront and ask them questions.
But today when he’d stumbled across one he’d just sat and watched without approaching them, something was both off and familiar about the person and Basil couldn’t figure out what it was.
So when the other finally went on the move he’d began trailing behind them, currently doing so for the last ten or fifteen minutes trying to figure it out.
