For Humanity AU Overview

An overview of my AU that includes all 4 Xenoblade games! This'll contain the basics of the AU, links to the fic series/the one relation chart in existence/lists of things like species!

Under the cut we go, because this will get long!

This AU is strongly set within the world of X/Mira, with characters/themes/places from the other games coming into play for the sake of keeping things interesting.

Klaus and Galea feature heavily, as well as the Trinity Processor as I'm marrying the past of 1/2/3's worlds to the past of X. I also made the original Moebius AIs, as fun parallels to the Trinity Processor!

Certain ideas from the numbered games are gone. Blades? Don't exist! Gormotti? Added into Wrothians! Giants? Ancestors of the Homs at most! Similarly, Zanza and Meyneth are just used to characterize Klaus and Galea.

Species will join humanity (mimesome version) throughout the AU, and some have set ways thanks to canon or me having a lot of thoughts. Others are still a but muddier, but I am happy to talk about what basic vague ideas I can come up with on the spot (after checking with the bf because he helps develop things when I'm unsure!)

So, an interesting theory that's around and that I subscribe to involved Fiona and her horns (as well as the mystery woman who may be Nimue and NPCs seen on the affinity chart).

While some XC2 blades have horns and could be the data/dna responsible for it popping up in the dna clone soup babies everywhere... A thought people have is it's a trait from an extinct race that was brought back by the cloning process in some way.

If that's the case, there's no telling what species are on the table for being slapped into the clone soldiers and their appearances...

What I'm saying is if the horns are in fact from an old species that went extinct in Alrest, who's to say we won't see another extinct species from the Bionis come back in some form?

That's right.

I'm suggesting we may see some Giant traits among Keves NPCs.

Last Minute Predictions/Theories for Xenoblade 3

The Consuls are Testaments-like and their goal is something akin to Eternal Recurrence (Xenosaga fans will rise)

Seemingly no connection to X until they drop a Nopon Caravan led by a Nopon named Dodonga on your lap and every X fan everywhere explodes

By the end of the main game we'll all be able to guess what the extra story content is going to be (prequel, sequel, or midquel as well as potential plot)

N is going to be a Grahf-like to Noah's Fei-like.

Gray will point a gun at a child, this is less prediction/theory and more a need. Carry on Elma's legacy, Gray.

The Fog will either be settled fully or not touched upon and Future Connected's links to 3 will hang in the balance of this.

At least one antagonist WILL melt my brain beyond repair like Egil/Lao/Ga Jiarg did. Current bets are on the purple Consul fucker.

NoahMio will be FeiElly two and break the curse of me not having any strong feelings about any canon het ships in Xenoblade.

Gameplay is going to go apeshit and by the time superbosses are discovered people will have builds that do like 100k per hit or some shit.

I will cry at least 5 times before the end of the game.

Ethel and Isurd will be antagonists for less time than they are NPCs and/or allies, being more pawns of the Consul than actual antagonists.

Sena and Lanz will be gay /j (unless...?)

Hello! I hope you’re doing alright! If I may ask, how are you feeling about the direct??

Hi!! I'm doing fine, I hope the same for you!! ^^ Of course you can. I'll put it under the cut because waaaaah a lot of thoughts and feelings!!

First off all the ten years thing and people turning to stone when they die is INSANE to me. I think it's going to be extremely interesting and I'm expecting it to be clones? Currently I'm theorizing the Original Forms of each character is in stasis of some sort, being cloned over and over again to keep the Clocks Ticking.

The secondary Ouroboros forms are also insanely cool, I was theorizing about that for a while and I'm glad it's come to be true!! Honestly the NoahMio one made me think of you because cat AND it reminds me a bit of KOS-MOS hehe. Sena in control of the Sena-Lanz combo also reminds me of Crescens from Xenogears which is really cool!!

AFFINITY CHART IS BACK AND THANK GOD FOR THAT. The ones in 2 just don't hit the same as the ones in 1 and X for me! Not to mention the Collectopaedia is back, which is one of my favorite aspects of Xenoblade!!

The classes are all so cool so far and SCREAMING OVER FULL METAL JAGUAR BECAUSE THAT'S FROM X. NOT ONLY THAT BUT IT'S ELMA'S CLASS. X is alive and Takahashi is letting us know it!!!

Speaking of classes, the outfit swaps are SO CUTE. I kinda wanna put everyone in Lanz's coat because it looks so big and cute on them all!!! That may depend on more Heroes, though. If there's some really cool 'fits....

Speaking of Heroes! It's been so cool to see. We got an Indoline hero which is neat... Only for him to be forgotten by me the moment another Machina pops up lol. She looks cute, I'm excited to meet her. Overall the Keves heroes are really interesting. But also that girl with the big fists...

I think she's from Vandham's faction, the one living at Swordmarch (potentially called Lost Numbers, which adds to the Clone Theory imo). I have little basis for this other than her outfit is more grey than black and she appears with men who have scars over the eyes that would hold their Clocks -- potentially a way to deal with the Consul?

And the CONSUL. They seem like an interesting antagonist group. Excited to see more of all of them. Their names are letters? Most interested in the silver-haired mystery man and the Noah, though. The Noah thing is giving me big Gears vibes...

Overall I'm SUPER hyped!! I think this game is going to go off the rails in the best way possible :>! What about you, how do you feel about it? :0

She's so cute I wish Xenoblade made it easier to tell ages bc I'm like. Is she 17+ or part of the Blorbo Brigade (Fiona-Valdi-Juniper who all seem to be 16 or younger and thus my children)
