Hello! I found your blog some time around the SEA CBT for L&N concluded, and was pleasantly surprised to see how much this blog contained!
I'd love to hear your thoughts on which Tarot fit would fit each LI best, based on the main story spoilers I've read up to Season 2 Chapter 4. I already made a list, but would happily hear more and see your own takes for each LI, even if they're different.
Osborn = The Chariot Sariel = The High Priestess Evan = Death Charlie = The Hanged Man
good news, the light and night men were given official tarot designations! i'm afraid i don't know much about tarots other than the general information sites give, but i can see where the official designations are coming from.
OSBORN = The Chariot. putting aside the keywords of action and moving forward, i also like the detail of the chariot being pulled by a black and white sphinx that oppose each other because it reminds me of his character arc with the "good" soul and "evil" soul.
EVAN = Death. this one is easy because endings and beginnings, death and rebirth, change and transformation, all of this describes Evan's journey perfectly.
SARIEL = The World. i think this is a nod to how the spirit clan are attuned to nature and also Sariel's journey of the past leading to the future and the mobius strip of his life.
CHARLIE = Strength. one of Charlie's keywords is paradox (specifically good and evil in chinese) and lately he's been showing more and more of his enormous greed and desire for knowledge (prometheus and icarus style) which could be disastrous if it was not all tamed by how, at his core, Charlie is selfless and compassionate.
JESSE = The Hanged Man. laughing nervously at the meaning of ultimate surrender and sacrifice for the greater good after season 3 chapter 8. the upright and reversed meanings really describe jesse though because he had to learn to let go of his revenge and gain a new perspective on life, since practically for his entire life he's been stalling and indecisive about everything.
