Sera - Essence Exchange!

Featuring Sera, my Cross, with the Ultra Ceramic Candela II Photon Saber.

This is my first time drawing her with her Definitive Edition end of game gear, and it's changed quite a lot! She had her original gear from the Wii U days for a good portion of the story but then something changed as she grew to love Mira more than before and found a flower she never tried to get before. She still keeps her mismatched sleeves of course!

@eartkeepgoing I actually wanted them to interact in some way, but then when I drew Yelv first... he looked like a kid. xD So I ended up drawing them as kids. Or attempted to. I like how Yelv is shorter, haha.

I really wanted to draw one or two more, but since there was no inspiration to draw lately, I finally thought I should just share this anyway.

Happy 1st anniversary, XCX!

Just a little of something I drew because I really did feel like drawing other people’s Crosses for the anniversary. ...The Crosses was much better in pencil, I swear. T^T I shouldn’t have inked them!

I originally wanted to draw them altogether with my Cross and my sister’s Cross, but that didn’t work out. So, I only drew headshots of the other Crosses. 8D

Thoughts on why I picked these Crosses are under the cut.

Jay: When I first saw him on tumblr, I didn’t really think much about it. I barely remember anything either. xD The very first time that Jay stuck on was when @eartkeepgoing​ drew this comic thing with Jay in it. Along the way, I realize Jay is a Cross who will be fun to write about. Especially interacting with others. He’s entertaining in some sense!

Jaynix: She was fairly easy to recognize because of her fierce look and red hair (mostly red). Then there was more posts later on and I totally thought she was cool! (Awesome screenshots, duh!) The idea of her and Alexa together is cute too. <3 I can just imagine Alexa smoothing down Jaynix’s lovely hair...! x3

Scarlen: Dude, he’s awesome looking and I actually have zero knowledge of him. LOL I first saw him in in these screenshots of other people (something about cheering up their partner and Scarlen was with Yelv ). ...I don’t know, but Scarlen stood out so much to me. 8D That hair and those eyes...! OMG his hair was hard to draw. XDDD

Christie: She was the first Cross I took note of when I started searching XCX on tumblr. It’s adorable that her love interest is Lao too~! I don’t know about the others, but Christie has also expressed her love to Elma, Lin, and the others. It’s very nice to see when the Crosses are shown with somebody else too, since it builds up character very well. It gives me more of a clear image of the Cross is like.

Natasha: *grinning widely* She and my Cross (Roseu) both like Yelv and even have the same hair style. Why wouldn’t I love her? Honestly, in the beginning, I didn’t search for Natasha until there were more posts. She seems funny... I don’t know how, but that’s what my memories are telling me. xD Her eyes attracted me the most. She is probably the first Cross that I actually sat down and read her background all the way. Probably because I got very bored and needed a change of pace?

Sergio: Fucking adorable and hotheaded (I think he is). Along with Hope, I get the butterflies in my stomach when the two are together. IT’S SO CUTE EVERY TIME I SEE A POST/FANART OF THEM. He’s like one of the best Crosses that made me smile and laugh. MYGOSH I don’t know if I should keep going with this, so I’ll just end it here. I’ll only fangirl endlessly... I JUST WANT TO WRITE ABOUT HIM BUT I NEVER ASK FOR PERMISSION SO... LOL I may suck at it too, that’s why.

At first, I wanted to ink it and then color it on the computer. But I can’t make enough time for that. xD
