I love how fanfics have Edgin being cautious/caring of Xenk's hair, it's so endearing omgg.

One fanfic had Edgin grab the back of Xenk's neck instead of weaving his fingers through his hair, as to be careful to not snag his locs when he was receiving Xenk's *ahem* service.

Another fanfic had Edgin towelling Xenk's wet hair with the proper method after a flood and he rinsed his locs with diluted apple cider vinegar because of course Edgin knows curly/loc hair care with his daughter and dead wife having curly hair.

Anyone else get frustrated when you're expecting the ship to go one way but author takes it the other way? Say, for example, you're expecting Person A to be the dominant partner to Person B's submissive, but that's not what happens?

And, like, it's not BAD to be switched, but you kinda had your hopes up for something else?
