Keep your eyes open for any of my new posts--I'm working on the base for my SCP Foundation OC lore, which is both metaphorical and physical since I'm creating a whole Site/Division. I'm not an expert on the Scp canon, but I'm still knowledgeable.

THE SMALL, LUMINESCENT CREATURE which hovers before her is anything but rightfully wary, its single eye fixated upon the sight of her emerald visor. it nears closer, soft and infantile chittering growing slightly more apparent - alongside the hum of its energy-inundated aura - with the lessening of distance between them, and it's only a few moments more before one small appendage is raised to rap gently against the front of samus's helmet, the sprite tilting its body in a curious, inquisitive fashion.

How often is it that a creature is eager to approach Samus without the intent to harm her? She wishes it was a larger number than it was. Needless to say, the hunter was ready and on alert with her cannon when the floating entity made itself known. Noisily. Curiously. If it were sentient she would consider it to be reckless. Rather than be irritated by this interruption to her exploring however, Samus is similarly curious. 

She’s had many types of encounters with local fauna on her myriad of journeys, and there’s a comparison one could make between these and another floating jellyfish. This however is lacking armor piercing fangs and a warning flash of her visor. That’s a good difference. And another thing is for sure-

They’re kinda cute.

When it taps a (noodley) appendage against her helmet she flinches back, if only slightly, from the surprise. When she realizes that she wasn’t in any danger the faintest of smiles tug at the corner of her lips. As if to return the favor and curiosity, so too does Samus lift her hand, reaching out a finger and giving an investigative ‘tap’ to the creature. For the time being, this little fella was spared a swift death from a plasma beam.

“Hi there.” She says, softly, mostly for herself than hoping to be ‘heard’ or understood. The hand lingers. Just how friendly is it?

"roué" (049) - In French, it originally meant "broken on the wheel," which was a form of medieval punishment. Now it usually refers to a debauched, shameless, or sexually immoral person. It usually implies male, but Spiderling is a they/them so it doesn't really matter.
