It has come to my attention that the author of A Play With Words passed away back in late June. Although I never exchanged any words with her, after reading through the notes she left in her story, I... As someone who aims to pursue the creative arts as a career, I admire XER9AF’s dedication to writing in spite of her failing health, and feel deeply saddened about her passing. All my condolences to her family.

If you have not read this story before, it’s a lovely story with a very interesting take on the SI/OC genre. Please give it a look, in memory of a writer who dedicated her final days to telling this story.

Have you ever read A Play on Words by XER9AF? It's a really interesting look at "falling" into the naruto world.

I can now say after a day in bed miserable with a cold, that I have. It was a good read, addressing things like the communication issues, culture shock and by having the SI have no foreknowledge it keeps the perspective fresh. (Also when they meet a new person and you’re sitting there screaming “NO THAT’S A BAD HUMAN, BAD HUMAN NO DON’’T GO WITH THEM OH GODS YOU’RE GOING TO DIE!” is nice, like watching a pantomime.
