It has come to my attention that the author of A Play With Words passed away back in late June. Although I never exchanged any words with her, after reading through the notes she left in her story, I... As someone who aims to pursue the creative arts as a career, I admire XER9AF’s dedication to writing in spite of her failing health, and feel deeply saddened about her passing. All my condolences to her family.

If you have not read this story before, it’s a lovely story with a very interesting take on the SI/OC genre. Please give it a look, in memory of a writer who dedicated her final days to telling this story.

Seriously though, if anyone likes sibling interactions that are super adorable while breaking your heart at the same time, go read this! Etsuko is such a great older sister. -sniff-

Mitarashi Hanako-Sensei from Joyous Children! She loves chocolate and calling her students food-related pet names while making them complete insane tasks. Then act like it was no harder than a walk in the park.

Ahhh, I love characters like her so much - there a lot of cool Sensei OCs in Naruto fics, but Hanako is definitely one of my favorites with all her entertaining antics.

I’ve been absent since, well, pretty much the beginning of the year due to real life reasons but I’m baaaacck. I’ve been catching up on a lot of things, and I have a huge backlog for fanfic updates to read as well (including CYB..so behind...). I’m hoping draw a lot of fanart for a bunch of stuff from here on out!

Hey do you take suggestions of naruto fics? 'Cause A Play on Words by XER9AF is really interesting if you wanna check it out.

Oh that’s a good fic! It’s an interesting take on the SI/OC genre and I particularly like how it explores the language barrier that Fay has to deal with, since she isn’t a reborn OC.

I haven’t read in a while though, so I will need to reread it if I want to catch up. :(

Ahhhh! Your fanfiction headbust drawings were so good! (Also not going to lie since I loved like every one of the stories whose characters I recognized I am putting the ones I didn't on my to-read list) Speaking of, have you read Vapors, by ElectraSev5en? It's another one that's on my top-fave list of SI OC's. Ending of both parts hits you like a train wreck though fair warning.

Yes I have read Vapors. :) I’m quite fond of it as well. As far as I’ve seen it’s probably the best SI-as-Naruto’s-twin story out there (although there’s a few promising ones I’m keeping track of) and one of the most solidly written SI stories skill-wise. Aiko is a level of badass some characters can only dream of at this stage, it’s pretty awesome. I definitely think it’s a shame ElectraSev5en lost interest in the story but it’s worth reading for the early chapters alone.

It's been about a year since I first found myself sucked into this scarily addictive fandom and I'm still in it, obsessed with it as ever. Since I finally have time, winter break and all, I sat down and worked on this for the past few days. I made it in time for Christmas! They are the main characters of wonderful stories that I didn't get to drawing last time as well as new favorites I've found over the year. Thank you very much for writing these stories, lovely writers!

Now presenting:

Mesuji Natsumi: “I'm a badass reincarnated 30 year old American soldier who's not gonna take any of your crap."

Watanabe Ryuishi: "I'm creating a goddamn legend in the Naruto-verse the likes of which they've never seen before."

Uzumaki Raiga: "Badassery and crazy shenanigans? Ya got it. Wreaking havoc on canon since rebirth."

Yamanaka Rei: "Frustrating at times? Morally questionable? Yup that's me. Ridiculously badass and always entertaining? Also me. The most ambitious, power-hungry SI that you can't truly hate."

Uchiha Etsuko: "I think I'm part of some cosmic joke that finds my suffering entertaining, but you know what? I'll deal with all the bullshit to protect my little brother. And be a total badass while at it."

Momoru Aoi: "I'm a scientific genius and I don't give a damn about anyone! …Nevermind I actually do. Dammit. I'm going to have to help aren't I?"
