Just finished Candaria Territory on my alt and I’m getting close to that part. ;-;

ok, here are some fluff hcs about xereon bc i just have to share it with those 3 ppl that still play lost ark!!

• he is very submissive in a relationship, whether it is hugging, kissing and cuddles in general. i imagine xereon is like a pleading puppy when it comes to physical affection, just looking at his s/o with big eyes waiting to be cuddled but to nervous to say it out loud

• also shy, gets flustered when being touched and immediately starts blushing and looking away

• once he gets comfortable around his s/o he will try to be as close to them as possible, wrapping around their arm like a baby or spontaneously holding their hand during missions when he is nervous

• he doesn't mind public displays of affection but prefers doing it privately, not only because of his shyness but also because he feels more relaxed when it's only him and his s/o with no other people to watch

• i can definitely see xereon as a person whose love language is quality time. he doesn't mind taking walks in the woods, going to the library, for a nice lunch or travelling but his number one thing is sitting together at home, hugging and talking with his s/o while drinking herbal tea, wrapped up in blankets, with a fireplace warming them

• he likes to give his s/o small gifts from time to time, like pretty rocks he found or flowers. sometimes he will surprise them with little magick tricks like creating tiny fireworks. overall he really enjoys it, seeing his s/o's happy face after receiving a present is something he just loves

• xereon as a kisser would be very gentle, taking it slow to make sure they are both comfy and enjoying it. he rarely initiates kissing but loves when his s/o does.

• needs to be praised. like constantly. he just melts when his s/o calls him their good, sweet boy or love. it doesn't limit to just pet names, he also really likes hearing how good he is with magick - it boosts his ego to the stars

Okay guys, but imagine Xereon basically being Thar's adopted little brother (whether Xereon knows it or not).

Thar finding himself being slightly overprotective of the young lad.

Ealyn and Avele finding it amusing (cute) that this rough, respected, and feared commander in a mountain of armor has an obvious (to those close to him, anyways) soft spot for this nervous man who also happens to be a whole-ass Solar Knight and his subordinate.

Thar making sure he keeps whatever the Lost Ark equivalent of Gatorade is and granola bars on him for whenever Xereon inevitably goes too far and runs out of mana, almost collapsing

Thar subconsciously staying close to Xereon during combat

Thar feeling the innate need to break Ludwig's wrist when he finds out he broke Xereon's heart and has been giving him grief all these years after b/c of what happened at That Battle

Ludwig being ecstatic to see his commander and hero's face for the first time since he died when he takes his helmet off during a meeting, only for that to turn into absolute fear when it's only so Thar can get into his face and properly look him in the eyes when he threatens Ludwig b/c he learned him and Xereon got back together

"What makes you believe you deserve my little brother's heart again after what you did to him?" "C-commander? Your little brother?" "If you hurt Xereon again, more than your wrist will get broken in battle next time.." "THAT WAS ON PURPOSE??!"

"Hey starlight, why didn't you tell me Thar was your older brother?" "...... My what now?"

I know I want to write a Lost Ark fix-it fic where Xereon survives, even if he ends up seriously wounded. But what I DON'T know is if I want to write endgame Xereon/Player or endgame Xereon/Ludwig?????
