Do you think the XFactor was some diabolical plan of Simon's? I am assuming that is what you are talking about with your Dec. 1st post. Don't you think Louis seems happier now since starting the XFactor than prior to it? We haven't seen any real negative press about him all positive. I think it was a win win for Louis. Thoughts?
I don’t think it’s a diabolical plan from Simon, I just think Simon left louis no choice to refuse (he’s been wanting to have louis as a judge since 2014). They delayed his music, didn’t promote it, they prolongated babygate, etc. Also simon love to show to louis (and his fans) that he’s still the one in charge, the one with the power, it’s just all mind game…
I think louis and his new management negociated well, they knew simon was desperate to have him. that is why the press is good and louis is seen under a good light.
I don’t think he’s happier, I think he’s happy things will be able to move after the end of the show (at least I hope that’s what he negociated i.e the end of babygate and release of his album with good promo).
I think the xfactor has been good for his image in the uk and for some people in this fandom. But he wouldn’t have needed and didn’t need the xfactor to change his image if simon and his sbires hadn’t make him look so bad in the press in the beginning…
I want xfactor to end because louis is a musician, his place isn’t on a heavily rigged show, he should be shining on stage like the other boys do. that is what his audience (we) want.
