I'm sorry to bother you, but I went through your posts and there is one point about bootcamp that I don't understand.
I know they prefilmed bootcamp, but on the xFactor show they said bootcamp was 5 or 6 days.. But bootcamp started on 22.July and they got put together in 1D on the 23.July..
Do you think they filmed all of it only in one/two days? Logically I can't explain it to me, bc they have to do the man in the mirror thing, the dance, all of the solos (200 people?) and the decision process, that's tough in just two days isn't it? Also they wearing different stuff each day (I know this isn't a point cause they can change, but I'm confused)
I know it's not really relevant, but I have no clue about those shows and how they make these things and I'm curious.
Anyways feel free to ignore if you don't wanna answer it!
I think I've talked about this before. But there is a bit of confusion with the dates themselves. I mostly went by @bulletprooflarry's timelines, and the linked timeline for when episodes aired. But because we don't have record of when things were filmed, I haven't seen exact dates for that. (if anyone has definitive dates for when everything was filmed vs aired send it to me please)
This post of @bulletprooflarry has the following timeline:
July 18: Day 1 of Boot Camp
July 22: Boot Camp Judgement Day/1D Is formed
Late July: First band meeting they talked about in the movie
Mid August: 2 weeks at Harry’s dad’s bungalow
Given this timeline, bootcamp was 4 days. However, the date for 1D being formed is different here. We do know it was actually on July 23rd, as it was always reported and Liam posted a screenshot of his text to his dad from that day.
Just keep in mind that there is some unknown elements regarding those dates....but they're as close to accurate as I could find based on my research.
I think a lot of the confusion is due to the fact that some parts were pre-filmed, and other parts were filming while episodes aired. It wasn't until the live-show portion of the show that the schedule is clearer in terms of real-time events.
