This is about as close as it gets to vent art for me. I made this for a few different reasons. (1) I just came out to my strongly christian traditionalist republican family as Biromantic Demisexual and although they don't agree with it, we're still family and that's all that matters. (2) I've been having self image issues lately concerning my weight and fitness. So long story short, this is how I look right now and although it's not exactly the way I want to look, it's honestly not as bad as I think it is. (3) I'm honestly just not proud of the last pic I drew of myself for a profile pic so I wanted a new one. Anyways, thanks for looking!

This has been in my wips folder for a bit too long along with many other projects that I've gotta finish up. But for this here, I've been meaning to update it in my more recent style which is starting to really lean into realism while having that slight hint of cartoonism. I dunno, I also just wanted to make it look better and show a couple other things like my short hair and facial hair that I've worn recently as well. I didn't go bald but I wore both facial hair styles with either hair style so I just decided to show them on their own. I am also tempted to make a 3d model of Xio here but I really aught to save that for after I've finished all of my current projects. Oh, the whoas of the modern artist, amirite? Thanks for looking!

My friends and I are playing some DnD on the interwebs via discord and Xbox party chat cuz why not. I decided to draw my character (albeit lazily made), also cuz why not. He lost his hand because he first accidently mashed his thumb into oblivion then tried offering the remains of his then severed thumb to a wolf (both actions were natural one rolls). He also accidently killed a teammate by paralyzing him so he couldn't kill a goblin and then said goblin gathered its buddies and ganged up on the now paralyzed teammate and killed em dead... Good times. Something unrelated but also related: I was talking to me mum about playing DnD and she looked at me and said, "Isn't that kinda geeky?" and I looked right back at her and said, "Mom, I literally draw ponies. I don't care." We both got a pretty good laugh out of that. Thanks for looking!

Commissions [OPEN]

How to request a Commission -

You can either follow any of my social media links below and ask there or you can email me at [email protected] with the title of your email being "Commission Request from ____" and just fill in the blank with your name/username/however you would prefer I refer to you. When you request a commission, be sure to give a detailed and specific description of what you are asking me to do. At the end of your commission request should be your offer of how much you think the commission is worth/how much you are willing to pay for the commission to be done (The absolute lowest price I will accept is $20 USD). From there, I will either accept your commission if I agree with you offer, discuss the price with you if I disagree with your offer but am interested in the commission, or I will simply deny your commission request. Note that I retain the right to deny your commission request if I do not like the content you are asking me to create, disagree with your offer and we cannot agree on a price, and/or if I am unavailable to work on commissions at the time of your request.

Types of Commissions I offer -

I only take digital art commissions. That includes but is not limited to: sketches, complete pieces, poster art, wallpapers, backgrounds, character designs, logos, banners, tattoo designs, etc. I DO NOT make NSFW, pornographic, or otherwise explicit or vulgar content nor will I accept commissions that fit under these descriptions. So this is one of the several pieces that have sitting in my wips folder. Finally decided to finish it. I'm still experimenting with my style. I'm liking where it's going but it could still use some work. Also, lazy lighting/shading! YaAaAaY! Hope you peeps like it!

Here’s my updated spidersona! I actually have no idea what I want to name him. I could go with slinger or I could fall back on his og name, Arachni-Kid but I'm no longer a kid so that's not entirely fitting anymore (even if I'm a kid at heart). Regardless, I know it's not all that different from the last time I redesigned his look but ya know what? If it isn't broken then don't fix it (because we're grammatically correct here). 

Anyways, I removed the hood which is the biggest change. I mean, I look at it like this- although I really liked how the hood looked, it's extremely impractical and could honestly cause more problems than necessary in combat situations. Therefore, bye-bye hood. Other than than, I tweaked the chest piece at the collar bone slightly as well as the side and the shoulder blade pieces. Other than that, everything is honestly the exact same. 

As a sort of side note, I didn't feel like trying to wing the body proportions because, well, it is supposed to be me afterall. So instead, I took a couple reference pictures of myself in leggings (which are probably the most comfortable things I've ever worn) and basically traced them. One thing I realized about myself is that I'm thiccer than I realized and that all that thiccnes isn't as much muscle as I thought or hoped it was so I’m prob gonna get back into the swing of running regularly and maybe even working out. Idk, we'll see. 

But I also made this alternate mask idea, not with the intention of actually using it, but just to see how it'd look because I may go for something like that for my other hero character that doesn't have spider powers. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Okitay so I'm just gonna say this real quick.

You guys know about that really awesome movie that just came out(ish) called "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse"?

Well, the fact that it has spawned this whole new movement of "spidersona's" makes me so happy, you don't even know. I've been a Spider-Man fan, a "Spider-Fan" if you will, ever since I watched the Sam Raining trilogy when I was little. In fact, Spider-Man is the reason I got into art in the first place.

After a while I eventually made my first spidersona named "Arachni-Kid" (it had to be like 2008 or 2009 when I made it). I may do a progression pic or something of how his suit evolved as time went by but it looked very different between then and now. To clarify, I fully intend on revising the look yet again just because how can I not? I dunno, no promises on when it'll come but it is coming and oh boi, will it be a doozy (the suit progression pic, not the revision) Either way, I'm super excited to get this done! YaAaAaY Spidey!
