but if i had to i'd probably say the dynamic. because they're both stubborn and adam's such a sarcastic piece of shit. but michael wouldn't stand for that so their initial arguing and bantering and trying to one-up each other and get the last word is so much fun to read/write. 

like, this is just a personal preference, but i can't read canon divergent fics where they act civil to one another from the get-go. because i'm just like "BUT WHERE'S THE MUTUAL ASSHOLERY" and i miss it.
