In the original Age of Apocalypse storyline, Erik was never a Horseman. In fact, he was more or less the HERO of the narrative; he assembled and led the X Men. In a world where entire cities were being culled and ordinary humans and mutants alike were thrown into concentration camps and experimented on, his team fought against huge odds to accomplish even the smallest of victories. Erik struggled to keep his team and family alive, and while he made many morally gray decisions he was NEVER the villain. Everything he did was to create a better world. And Fox once again making him a one-dimensional villain (this time with an extra dose of antisemitism) in THIS storyline makes me mad as hell
tfw new x men movie stuff comes out and i’m briefly hyped up before i remember the constant whitewashing, antisemitism, qu**rbaiting and ableism
dofp! pietro is just as white-washed as his aou counterpart, i don’t care if he’s a mutant/canonically magneto’s son this time around he is still a mayo-moff
I wonder if there’s a Graydon Creed in XMFC canon. Is Kurt Wagner meant to be Raven’s child in this canon, or will his presence have another explanation? Does Rogue have any family connection to Mystique or Irene Adler?
Early speculation: Charles confronting Apocalypse within his/their mind(s) while in Cerebro, so that the third gif is Apocalypse using Charles’ enhanced telepathy to see all of the humans/mutants in the world, and calling to them.
War, Famine, Pestilence, Death... Archangel was Death once, so will he be so in AOA? Which leaves Storm and Magneto and Psylocke for Famine, War and Pestilence, perhaps?
explain the horsemen more please
The Horseman of Apocalypse, Death War Famine and Pestilence, are the specially chosen servants of Apocalypse. Apocalypse owes his rise to power to the ancient Celestial technology he discovered in Egypt when he was young, and used it to augment his body and powers (his natural mutant abilities are actually pretty basic). When he wants to set out on a campaign, or he sees a very strong superhuman, he recruits them and augments their bodies and powers to suit his needs. A lot of the time the horsemen’s minds are altered as well, if they don’t willingly join him. Notable horsemen have been Angel, Wolverine, Psylocke, Gambit, the Hulk and Polaris.
