1. Do you like country? Why or why not?
Normally I do not. I just am not fond of the sound of the music. There are a few country sounding songs that I can handle but a majority of the usual country sound I do not enjoy, which is just my taste. And I know most popular country songs today don't do this, but some of the lyrics can really turn me off. The sound and lyrics together sometimes remind me of some of my very closed minded relatives who live deep in Missouri. Not fun.
2. What’s something that you want to learn more about?
I'm a very curious person so when something fascinates me I usually research it so it's hard to think of something I enjoy that I don't know much about. Not just one thing sticks out but here are some things I always enjoy learning more about: minority rights in the world, evolution of organisms, the United Nations, astronomy, life in other cultures, anything relating to political maps, revolutions, how life is destined to change in the near and far future, why people turn out the way they do, and country relations (especially regarding nuclear weapons). My mind is kind of all over on what fascinates me.
3. Who is the most inspirational person in your life?
Again this is a difficult question as not just one person holds the obvious "most inspirational person in my life" position. Everyone I know well inspires me in someway. Sometimes I try to get good values from people and other times I try to make sure I don't act like others. Either way, people close to me inspire me in one way or another.
4. Where’s the farthest place you want to travel?
I want to travel pretty much everywhere. I have a map of places I want to go to before I die and I have hundreds of places tagged. I also really enjoy astronomy so I guess I would say I probably wouldn't go further than Mars.
5. What was the last concert you attended?
Panic! At The Disco in Chicago a few months back. It was amazing! So much fun.

7. What’s the story behind an item you hold dearly?
The things on my bulletin board I have at my dorm is very personal to me. It has a lot of mementos and pictures of great times I had with friends in the past. A lot of them have inside jokes and it makes me smile whenever I look at that board.
8. Do you do new years resolutions?
Not usually. I sometimes set goals for myself before each school semester so I guess my spring semester goals would start close to new years resolutions.
9. What makes you feel like a badass?
Whenever I am having a great day out in Chicago with people that care about one another. Sometimes I have to stop and remember that it's such a blessing. Also when the social conservatives lose another state to marriage equality muahaha.
10. What’s your favorite scent?
I have a hard time smelling scents but I have a strong memory of the scent of the gulf coast of Florida in the morning. It was a strong warm salty breeze that with the rising sun as I walked barefoot in the sand was incredibly peaceful.
11. Have you ever gone skinny dipping?
No, but I'm not opposed to that changing. :)
