[TXT: Rogue Sister:] Yeah, he asked, and I want to. I just sorta panicked when he asked because of everything. Who wants to date a girl who in high emotions gets claws?
❝ but even if you come in contact with someone, sometimes it's not always skin to skin. ❞ he pointed out. ❝ your gloves aren't the only thing that protects everyone from skin to skin with you. other clothes do too. ❞ he added on simply. he was sure she knew about that, considering she knows her powers from the inside and out.

John swats at her hand before grabbing her wrist and pulling it from his lips. "Did.. Did you just try to shut me up like you would a child?" He looks offended as he continues to hold her wrist. "I'm not a child. I'm a grown adult."
He immediately falls into a fit of laugher as she calls him out. He’s alright, in a perfect fit of health he was genuinely just being silly and messing around with her.
“Ah you got me! I’m fine, but if you’re offering a little kiss regardless I’ll take one sweet kiss to go!”
Half masked expression only shows his mouth curling up into a large toothy grin as he rocks back and forth on his heels, boots slightly squeaking.
“I don’t think I’ll ever see the light y’know? And if I do, it’s probably gonna be hellfire! Hah!”
"Well no, but— I'm not exactly harmless. So I can only understand to a certain extent, but I'm always here to support you." Beatrice went on to reply then. Rogue was like family. Had been since she was little. So she had no intention of changing her mind in relation to understanding and supporting her no matter what. "I know..." she managed to the other girl. "We won't go there. You want to talk about something else entirely?" she offered then.
It had taken a while, a lot of patience and a lot of trust, to even get so far that Rogue allowed him to see her in a swimsuit, much less touch her like this. But he'd talked her into a visit to the beach, rented one of the little bungalows to get away from it all for a couple of days. She took so much on herself, cared about everybody, but never took a minute to relax. Far from all her worries and cares, save the warm sun and surf. He didn't even know she knew how to surf -- but was right there to catch her when she wiped out, swooping down and catching her arm before it went beneath the waves.
Afterward they'd decided they'd had enough surfing, and retired to watch the sunset from the bungalow; the bedroom faced the beach, the windows floor-to-ceiling. He'd rinsed off with the hose outside, but Rogue had preferred a shower to get the salt out of her hair, rejoining him afterward.
The towel hitting the floor made him choke a little as his heart tried to escape through his throat. "Well -- alright then," he said, knowing he sounded moronic. "C'mere, green eyes..."
