Everyone wants the latest and greatest cameras on the market and it’s what everyone recommends; the problem with this is the latest digital cameras depreciate too quick. I suggest lenses and glass first because they don’t depreciate so quick and hold their value. I’d rather get an older generation camera and invest in the glass as lens quality far outweighs the latest autofocus speed! This is why I like @kipon_sh because they are more an optics company and they specialize in lens design. #Kipon suggested I try a @fujifilmx_us camera to match to their #Ibelux lens because they were of the belief and opinion that Kipon’s glass in this lens performs better on a #FujiFilm camera better than a Sony cropped sensor!? I’ve never shot #Fuji so I am thinking I need to trust this opinion and give it a serious try!? Sony is excellent especially with the Kipon BavEyes Focal Reducers to adapt medium format glass to 35mm #FullFrame! I think Sony and Fuji run head to head with their image knowledge. Sony purchased Minolta so I think they have a good grip on imaging. Both companies are shoulder to shoulder. I also think Fuji May have a better grip and are better invested in the cropped sensors than Sony is on their cropped sensors especially with their #XTrans sensors which are slightly different than Bayer Sensors!
