@cats-angels @programsandinventions Zofiel shook his head, trying to grab his hand across the table. "But why I can't come with you?" Yahoel pulled his hands away and he swallowed. "I - I don't think it would be best, I - that's as much as I can tell you brother." Zofiel couldn't keep from flinching at the word. He was more than that, they were more than that now. "Yahoel we've been friends since we were fledgings, why can't you tell me?" Yahoel bowed his head, his brown hair coming in his face. How Zofiel longed to move it back. "I - there's someone I swore I'd protect, I can't let them down." Zofiel sighed and finally nodded. "Fine, but know if you change your mind I'll be waiting." That just made Yahoel become more wracked with guilt and longing. "Don't wait, find someone who—" "No one will compare to you." Yahoel snapped his head up, his mind unbelieving of the words. Surely Zofiel didn't want someone as damaged as him? He'd make such a poor mate. But Zofiel simply nodded. "I mean it. No one." Yahoel opened his mouth to speak when his phone buzzed, Audrey was ready to leave. He swallowed imagining for one brief minute staying instead. Spending his days by Zofiel's side. Both of them wandering around the streets not a care in the world. Their nights spent curled up together, learning every inch of each other's bodies. He closed his eyes and swallowed storing the fantasy away for when he was alone and feeling particularly desperate. Yahoel stood up. They both flinched as the chair scraped on the hard linoleum floor. The sound to jarring for them, breaking the little bubble they had been in. The din of the Starbucks slowly filtered back into their awareness. Yahoel swallowed as Zofiel gazed up at him waiting for him to speak. "Goodbye Zofiel." Zofiel forced his emotions in check, the last thing he wanted was to make Yahoel feel even more guilty. He wouldn't emotionally blackmail him. "Goodbye Yahoel." He said though his eyes felt like they were beginning to sting and he looked to the side unable to let Yahoel see just how much he wished for this to be nothing but a nightmare. Yahoel stepped away and slipped out of the cafe, flying to Audrey, though he knew a piece of him would always be here with all the cherished memories he couldn't let himself relive.

So I was on a call with friends in the myth of the machine fan club server and we were sharing our OCS and characters and this new member bless her heart decided to draw some of them! Mine included.

This is my OC Yahoel they're a manager of the afterlife, not god, just a manager. Base on the serpent and the lamb.

I love the water color texture and the fact details and the way she drew the snakes ahhh it's amazing!!

Yahoel, Manager of the other

( btw this doesn't look as good it might've looked if it were in my og app aka ibis paint x. I lost it due to storage issues and now I had to use magma which was a bitch to figure out )

Created by Monad, the architect of the afterlife known as the Other, Yahoel serves as its acting manager.

While Monad maintains the foundations of the other itself, Yahoel is responsible for the endless day to day operations of the afterlife. Managing its Levels, overseeing the High Angel Council, assigning souls to their roles and levels and keeping the ever expanding system from collapsing into chaos.

To newly arrived souls, they are a patient guide. To angels, they are a respected authority figure. To the Council, they are a leader. To themselves, they are simply trying to live up to the being that created them.

Yahoel is heavily inspired by both the Lamb and the Serpent, as well as figures such as Metatron. They are one of the oldest beings in existence and have spent much of their life devoted to the maintenance of the Other and the will of Monad.

This design belongs to an original story concept I'm making and I'm so excited eeeeeeeee!!!!The story follows Charlie, a teenage girl who awakens in a vast afterlife made up of Levels and horrors lurking beyond. As she adjusts to her new existence, she becomes entangled with the workings of the Other, its angels, its mysteries, and the beings responsible for maintaining the boundary between it and the Void.

Yahoel ended up becoming one of my favorite characters to design, so I wanted to share them with y'all and some of their loreeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Btw I headcanon their voice to be luluyams hehehe
