Hi guys, can I take a minute of your time please?
My 17 year old cousin is an artist. He takes amazing photos, has sold paintings in school galleries, and he knows more about cinematography than a lot of people twice his age. But his real passion has always been music. He’s been learning piano and guitar since he was very little, and more recently he had been setting things up so he could study music in college.
The first week of April, my cousin had an accident. He touched a live wire at the roof of his house and got electrocuted. He has serious burns in most of his body, and he lost a few fingers in his right hand and got damage in one of his ears.
Thankfully, he got the financial backing of a foundation that is going to pay for most of his medical bills and recovery treatments. The problem is that they won’t cover any prosthesis for his hand. There is a specialized prosthesis for musicians, and we are hoping to get it for him, but it costs approximately $27,870 USDollars (half a million mexican pesos).
If you could donate anything to help him, we would really appreciate it. If you can’t, please reblog this so we can reach more people. The donation site has his story written in spanish, but you should be able to donate in any currency you want, any amount you want. In the site there is also a video of my cousin playing music before the accident, as well as some pictures taken by him and some of him and his family.
Here’s the link where you can make donations.
