Here’s my takeaways from the 10 year Markiplier anniversary stream.
A: Mark canonized something that the fans loved and supported. Feeds into his whole “you create” thing. We literally made Yancy lore.
B: I am of the personal opinion that Engineer Mark is **not** Actor mark. When Mark said “engineer is not actor but actor is engineer” the context around this is very important. He’s talking about youtube and the art of creation as a whole. I take this quote to mean that like he said earlier, Engineer is not Actor with a capital A mark. Rather, Mark Fishbach, the person, the hooman, is Engineer. He is acting out a story we feed into. He is actor, lowercase a. He is acting Engineer.
C: I am truly deeply inspired by Mark’s words about how anyone can do this, and I am going to retry to keep myself active in creative projects, specifically youtube, ya’ll should do the same. My current goal is to get to 50 views on a video, and get enough traction that I can start fleshing out lore I have planned. Mark has been such a huge inspiration for me and I just.. I want to prove what he said to be true.
