Yanling
a yandere flag for those new to yandere and reclaiming yandere, new to being a yandere and feeling like a beginner or youngling yandere.
May or may not relate to a youngling jedai yandere but that is up to the user.
An alternative to "baby yan" if you prefer.
Slight update to the flag design now that I'm back in the game (will update again as file is lost)
(Pro) endos, radqueers, transid, narc/borderline abuse believers and proship please dni.
Requests are open.
Dere coining post
Cw: topics of obsession and self harm.
Kyodere (キョデレ)
Kyodere- a term for a character who is very obsessive. They're lovey-dovey and overly affectionate like a normal deredere type character, but over time begins making their obsession more obvious as a result of having an intensely strong love. They are the kind of character who will act all lovey-dovey when their relationship with their romantic partner is going well, but when something triggers jealousy or possessiveness, they act in an impulsive way to regain their darling's attention.
Obsessive traits include (but not limited to): thinking of their darling 24/7, clinging to their darling, never wanting to be away from their darling for too long, sneaking pics of their darling for a shrine/collection, carving their darling's name into their skin, etc.
Etymology: Kyo coming from Kyōhaku kan'nen (強迫観念) meaning "obsessive thoughts" and dere ofc from Deredere (デレデレ) meaning "lovey-dovey."
Did my best to make it accurate to the language but it's not a language ik so bare with me & google translate lol. Feel free to help me out with it.
Colors: red for passionate/romantic obsession, green for jealousy in obsession, the purple heart symbolizes the subject of the obsession.
Everyone who connects to the flags/term or just likes it can use it (just credit me plz🙏 lowk my best colored flag lmfao so pleaseee dude).
Reason of creation: didn't fit any other labels perfectly so wanted something that didn't include killing, but didn't minimize the obsessiveness either.

A Gender Related To Being A Yandere && Goddess,Use If You Can Reclaim The Term Yandere!
While yes yandere is often used as a horror trope, see mirai nikki
I dont think yandere identity flags should go into a horror archive. That's people reclaiming yandere so a horror archive just pushes the narrative that we're dangerous and unstable and can only be a story telling device in the fictional world otherwise we're toxic. And that's bullshit.
So horror archives please. DONT REBLOG YANDERE FLAGS UNLESS THE COINED TERM SPECIFIES ANYTHING HORROR RELATED.
I had to block a chill horror archive after they reblogged sparrows flags on youryanderex. Those were not horror related. Those are flags for people reclaiming yandere.
Yandere isnt inherently a horror trope either. It's used in romance and comedy anime and so on.
Please for the love of God dont treat yandere like a horror Genre of character, it's a depiction of obsessive disorders like bpd and old and demonized us enough already. Let us reclaim it and leave the flags that exist alone.
Objectum Yandere
A term for those who obsess over can become highly protective of their beloved objects/object s/o(s). Those who feel attraction towards objects as well as feel obsessive, protective and possibly even possessive of the object of their attachment.
Someone who uses the term feels as though their object is/should be theirs and theirs alone and struggles with the idea of someone else with them. this may show as not wanting to share a specific object with anyone in fear the other person may either damage it, change it somehow in a way the user dislikes, misuse or otherwise incorrectly handle the object.
made with pw BPD and/or OLD i mind, please do not use unless you can reclaim yandere.
