I have waited for what seems like forever for Jun & Jun to air, and I still ended up missing when it first aired. I'm off to watch the first episode now!

Valjean's Soliloquy - Yang Jun Mo

From the 2017 Japanese run of Les Miserables when Yang Jun Mo was invited from Korea to Japan to play Jean Valjean. He sounds just as compelling in Japanese as in Korean; really not holding back at all on the emotions. From the bootleg video, he comes across as one of the gentlest and kindest Valjeans I’ve seen, definitely one of my favorites along with John Owen Jones, Colm Wilkinson and Kiyotaka Imai. 

Sidenote: I recently found the audio bootlegs of recent Japanese Les Miserables productions with other principle Valjeans such as Takanori Sato,  Shoichi Fukui and Mitsuo Yoshihara. All this time I thought there were no more masters recording the recent Japanese musical productions anymore... It is a bit disappointing that these new productions are using the revised and shortened libretto, unlike the older productions.
