My life pre-fitness; had to sleep with a fan on and one light blanket, that's it. My life since I've gotten into fitness and dropped 50lbs; no fan, heat on, have to have at least 3 blankets, sometimes even have to wear socks to bed (which I hate doing, I like to be able to wiggle my toes at night), then I can sleep. One kind of overlooked side effect to weight loss/fat loss; you will be cold, it's going to happen. Fat insulates you, kind of regulating your temperature, so when you lose your insulation you're obviously then going to have an issue with being cold when the temperature starts to dip. Last year I could go outside in 60 degree weather without a jacket and be perfectly fine. Tried that a couple days ago and yeah, nah bro, that ain't happening 😅. Went right into my backpack and put my jacket on. Solution: layers are your friend, jackets are your friends, blankets are your friends (btw isn't my dinosaur blanket awesome? My geology teacher made it for me last Christmas ❤️ Thank you Sandee 😘). These friends will make up for your loss of insulation. I'd much rather be cold or have to layer clothing/blankets and be heathy than be warm and not at all healthy. I'll gladly make that sacrifice. #fitfam #fitnessjourney #fatloss #weightloss #sideeffectsofweightloss #alwayscold #winteriscoming #idontlikethecold #50lbsdown #fattofit #blanketsareyourbestfriends #layersareyourfriend #notreadyforwinter #tuesdayselfie #myblanketisawesome #selfie #yaydinosaurs
