Thought I’d try my hand at animation! Problem is I haven’t moved over to workiong with digital drawing yet. So! I used traditional drawing and tracing  to make the art and Google Photos for the little GIF to move. 

I still got a long way to go before ever making an animatic, but I thought this was a good little step towards that. My messy gif makes me real proud.

U know what? Bless Rockstar for making Arthur indisputably a feminist. He listens to Tilly when she speaks about he experiences with racism and sexism, easily accepts that he doesn’t know as much as her, and acknowledges the intersections of race and gender. He respectfully calls Sadie “Mrs.” when she asks, never slut-shamed Abigail, fully supports the suffragette movement, and never makes unwanted advances on anyone. He listens to Lenny, Charles, Tilly, Javier, hell, pretty much any racial minority about racism and what it’s like. He constantly talks shit about slave owners and the white men who came up with the rules in the country, supports indigenous people and tries to help where he can without overstepping his boundaries, and seems to fully understand that even though he’s an outlaw, he does have immense privilege as a white cis man. The game never rewards racist, sexist, or homophobic behavior and outright condemns almost all that is shown. Arthur Morgan is a feminist babey!!!
