sound! euphonium perfectly encapsulates what it's like to be in a concert band, with the relationships within sections, and as a whole. it brought back so many memories from high school (bassoon ftw), and coming from a school with a HIGHLY competitive band program, i found it to be heartwrenching and accurate.
just did the ice bucket challenge with my drumline! it was actually really fun since it was so hot out today. glad to be raising awareness for ALS!

after a week of my life being dominated by marching band, the season is essentially over. i was a little sad, but honestly, getting to sleep in and do nothing but lie in bed, eat crap and watch Grey's Anatomy without having to stress over competition or marching was really relaxing.
...now for Russian Christmas Music!!!
