slime tutorial thing? i think? idk nobody asked for this but i liked how the slime blobs looked in my drawing of charlie from yesterday so i reverse engineered how i drew them lol

also actually wrote out the steps under the cut 👍

1. Blobby Shape

2. lower the opacity to like 95%? or 90% either works (i also put some shapes behind it to show what i’m doin’ better)

3. zoom in real close and colour drop an approximate middle-ground between the slime colour and the background colour(s) usin’ the overlapping pixels and then blob the colours onto the blobby shape over where the shape is (not right up to the edge, though. and it doesn’t have to be neat it’s just to diffuse the outline a bit or something like that)

4. get a blue on a multiply layer and clip it to ur slime layer, then do a big shadow over the whole middle of the thing (again, not to the edges)

5. highlights 👍 (not clipped to the slime layer)

6. okay i kinda smushed all these into one step but it’s an overlay layer in the same colour as the highlights, a darker blue multiply layer, and then another overlay layer with red and blue kinda splotched around to incorporate the environment colours more (plus like, lil slime guys face and all that)

the crowd doesnt fucking care for orange at all, neither does commentary, which is weird/refreshing bc its from his iwtv reign
