one day
i'm gonna be sitting at my dining room table with my significant other, or friend, or child, and i'm gonna be like, "i remember the days when i literally could not concentrate on anything ever. i procrastinated while i was procrastinating. i wrote poems instead of doing homework. i took walks instead of replying to emails. i played music instead of doing my laundry..." and i will be smiling with a glass of red wine because it will have all worked out.

DON'T WANT TO SEE ANOTHER GENERATION DROP
I'D RATHER BE A COMMA, THAN A FULL STOP
MAYBE I'M IN THE BLACK, MAYBE I'M ON MY KNEES
MAYBE I'M IN THE GAP BETWEEN THE TWO TRAPEZES
When I was 15 I went to New York for a week with my cousin and her dad (aka, my uncle). She was 16 and one day we were walking around Times Square and she said "Can I get a wig?" and somehow convinced her dad to get her a wig.. It was like a $60 wig, I don't even know why she wanted it. And it looked like Mrs. Brady. So she put it on and got over it really fast but her dad forced her to keep it on no matter how hard she fought it since he spent so much on it.
So a few hours pass by (with her still wearing the wig) and we are sitting on a bench in Central Park just taking everything in. He pointed and said "What's that?" Naturally, the both of us look. As we turned he ripped her wig off. She cried.
