Everett Family, Year 27

The start of the day, which included breakfast, was pretty late for Kade and Mallory, as their schedule was more nocturnal than the rest of the 'hood.

After discussing it with her partner over bowls of cereal, Mallory opened up her laptop and sent Mayor Martinez some funds so that she could open up the new community center. It wasn't a lot, since they'd just upgraded the house last rotation, but it was 100 simoleons more than Daniela would've had otherwise.

Then it was time for the toddlers to take a nap. Honestly, these kids are so much easier to deal with than the Frasers'. I'm even more excited because Iris will be aging up into a child at 6PM tonight!

The rest of the afternoon was more or less uneventful. Mallory worked on an article so that she could raise her cleaning skill and make some simoleons, while a fully rested Kade went ahead and started teaching Rigel how to walk.

We've got another kid in Melacoo River to mingle with the rest of the 2nd generation! Iris aged up and she's a total nerd like both her parents. I do think she'll end up taking after her dad when it comes to looks though, although I have yet to do a proper side by side to compare.

Mallory had some cupcakes from Ella's Bakery in her inventory so the girls celebrated Iris' birthday with some slightly stale but still delicious baked goods! After that, Iris hung out with her little brother, teaching him how to play with blocks... her favorite activity when she was his age.

Iris' sleep schedule is just as out of sync as her parents', so at 1AM she was wide awake reading a book. At least she'll have all of Sunday to try and get back on track before starting school. The whole family will probably have to do the same so they can live a more normal life.

Just as I was about to give up on an alien abduction for this generation (I told myself this would be the last all-nighter!) Kade ended up getting abducted! 6AM rolled around and he was still gone... so we'll find out next rotation whether or not it resulted in an alien pregnancy!

Adamson Family, Year 27

Samuel was the only member of the family that needed to be somewhere on that beautiful end-of-summer morning. Everyone else could enjoy the weekend off and do whatever they pleased.

Reese was still in his PJs when he decided on a whim to invite his crush Trixie over. As they watched TV on the couch, one thing led to another and they shared their first kiss. If you remember, Trixie actually had her first kiss with Dillon just a few households ago... as well as her first woohoo.

Daniela wasn't oblivious, she saw what was going on between her son and the Romance sim... and she wasn't sure she liked it. No one wants to see their kid end up heartbroken, but she was going to be the supportive mom that made lunch and got to know the girl better before developing an opinion on her character.

The 'hood was beginning to grow quite a bit, with 59 Sims, 12 Households and quite a few businesses beginning to sprout up around town. So Dani decided to invite some of the wealthier families to discuss the construction of a community center. She was going to run the business, but it was going to be entirely donations based, meaning there'd be no entry fee.

Angel was undoubtedly the wealthiest sim in the 'hood at the moment with an easy way to make simoleons quickly. Yet instead of participating in the discussion with the other Founders, he was happy playing chess by himself in the dark. Shy sims are wild.

Trixie spent all day at the Adamson family. They were moving very fast, maybe a little too much, but Reese couldn't help it. He loved Trixie and could absolutely see a future with her one day.

Romance was also in the air for Nicholas, although his relationship with Lucy was not new. Lucy was aging up into an adult next rotation and Nick wanted to spend as much time with her as possible before they got separated by a lifestage. Could their relationship withstand two whole rotations apart until Nick could join her in adulthood?

Bed & Breakfast, Year 27

As it was Saturday, the triplets were up a little later than usual to have breakfast. They were a bit low on groceries so leftover mac and cheese would have to do until someone could do some grocery shopping at Lowell's Family Grocer.

Since they didn't have school today, Tiffany decided to take the triplets to the park. Both Jamie and George still had work though, so they weren't able to join... and Dillon was way too old to run around with his little siblings, so he opted to remain behind.

Imogen, with her 3 points of niceness, couldn't stop herself from picking on poor Duke the moment she laid eyes on him. He was an easy target, but to her surprise he ended up not minding... or maybe he just didn't realize she was trying to torment him. In fact, he asked her if she wanted to play tag... and she went along with it. Why not?

Meanwhile, Miles ate some hot dogs with Robin, the second Matthews daughter. They were only a year apart in age, so the fact that they got along so well was very promising. Only time will tell if anything comes of it, whether that's platonic or romantic.

Tiffany had lunch with married couple Mags and Ford. Although their kids were biological half-siblings, Tiffany and Mags didn't have much in common and were pretty much strangers. Tiffany was pretty attracted to Ford though, but she was way too happy in her marriage to even think of doing anything with that.

Did you guess the real reason Dillon didn't want to join his mom and siblings at the park? He'd never had the house all to himself before, so of course he took full advantage and invited Trixie over. After a little bit of liquid courage, he initiated a first kiss, not only his but hers as well. And then, in true Romance Sim fashion, they ended up woohooing on the couch.

The rest of the evening was pretty uneventful. Jamie and George got home from work and everyone had dinner together, which Dillon unfortunately burnt to a crisp. He was probably too distracted by thoughts of Trixie.

And we wrap up this household with Imogen being nasty... again. She was constantly being mean to everyone, whether it was tormenting Duke at the park or booing her brother Miles' terrible piano playing.
