I'm soft, again — woke up just a bit ago and I'm thinking of precious it would be to have a little dear to tend to after their nap. Just to lean over and press a kiss to their temple, pinch their cheeks and help them to wake up for the rest of their day

Ask if their nap was good, if they needed anything a little extra and if they couldn't talk then I'd croon back to their coos and babbles. Bring them their favorite pacifer or toy to see their eyes light up and give a sleepy little smile.
