Happy Chinese New Year! As we all know, yee sangs are a pretty substantial part of it, even though I myself will probably not have one this year. But! I could always do a virtual yee sang and see how me and my friends fair in tossing it. So here’s a few variations of tossed yee sang, since most if not all of the time, stuff ends up on the table. How do you toss yours?

genki sushi, klcc.

first time trying genki sushi since they opened in malaysia as their stores is at places that i normally don’t go. and just happened we were there during chinese new year period. there’s not too many people during that time too, which is a good thing for me.

we ordered quite a lot of food, just picking from photos, haha... there’s tamagoyaki sushi, ebikko, chawanmushi, chiraishi bowl, salmon capriccio, smoked duck ramen, yee sang and hotate mentaiyaki. it’s easy to order food because you only need to scan the qr code from your phone and the food will be served via conveyor train.

the food is served really quickly so there’s almost no waiting time. all the food is really fresh and presented in a clean and neat manner. it’s very appetizing and enjoyable, definitely had a really stuffed and satisfying meal.

the staff is also friendly, and even ask for feedback when we make our payment, which makes our visit even better. definitely worth trying if you are in the mood for some simple sushi and japanese food.
